In short: rat in the room, loudly leaking pipes and taps in the bathroom, no sound insulation, mold, no kettle, no cup, or even a single spoon in the room. Scam.
Full picture: they keep low profile on google, and their sites are only on Booking and similar services. Looked not bad online, but it turned out to be a bad choice.
After I arrived, my room was not cleaned until I got angry and asked if they offer cleaning on the fourth day. The receptionist didn't even look at me, she just said I could request cleaning, so I did, and that was the only day they cleaned.
The toilet hose (for cleaning yourself after a business) was leaking badly. The bathroom floor was constantly flooded. The sound of water dripping from the hose, and spilling into drainage was annoying. I asked them to repair it, but they never did. I had to close the water valve to stop the water noise. After using the toilet, I had to open it and wait till the toilet fills with water to flush it.
I heard the sounds from neighbors's bathrooms like they were bathing in my room, especially running water.
When another couple had a loud encounter, I heard all like they were behind just a curtain, not on a different floor.
The window with so called "city view" looks outside at a building that is a few meters away. You see another taller building, not the city.
The ridiculous thing is that they played loud music from the loud speaker placed on the ceiling of the hall on my floor. They played pop songs, sometimes of a very poor choice, just to entertain guests. Point is that you could hear it all day long from your room, and couldn't switch it off!
I ordered a room with one king-size bed ("double room") but I was checked-in a twin room with two smaller beds. I asked for moving me to a kind of room I paid for. They said I had no choice until next day. The next day they got me a room one floor lower. It was also a twin room (two smaller beds). They also shown me a room at the back: it had one king-sized bed but the window was looking out at a solid building wall one meter away. There was a big construction (refreshment) in the very next room, so I stayed in my initial twin room because they didn't offer anything less far from what I paid for.
During my stay there were also noisy construction sounds from a lower floor: hammers, drills, sawing. All day long.
The rooms and furniture on the pictures online were looking good, but in real life, at the time of my stay in March 2024, they were seriously tired. The beds made squeaky sounds.
I needed a room with a window and a desk for working a few hours a day. There was a desk, but the electric socket was placed in such way that the electricity outlet was covered fully with the furniture. When I got the thing away from the wall, there was nowhere to attach the computer wire because all outlets were occupied by the fridge and TV with wifi router.
The room had no kettle, no complimentary coffee, tea, sugar, or water, no drinking cup, not even a spoon to eat a takeaway from outside! Just after the cleaning that one only time, the cleaner suddenly left an electric kettle and two bottles of water (350 ml each) in my room but still not a single cup or plate.
The room wasn't cleaned and I had to throw packages after food in the bin in the bathroom. Once I came back to a terrifying picture of a rat digging in the bin. It later was running around my room in the darkness and I heard it because the floor is made of some wood-like looking plastic.
There was a switch for mirror lamp, but there was no lamp, so I shaved in half-dim ambience.
There is an upside! The location is central. Even better news is that in that little street, and on all surrounding streets, and everywhere else in this district, there are thousands of hotels, hostels, and home stays that are way better! This place doesn't deserve one star, and it doesn't deserve to be called a hotel. For the first time in my life, I thought it is somehow proud to really be able call yourself a hotel. Even...
Read moreThis place is such a scam. Don’t listen to the 5 star reviews. When you check into the hotel the worker at the front desk will tell you that your original room you booked dosent have a window but she can upgrade you for free to a room with a window if you leave a 5 star review so that’s what my boyfriend did. However when we went into the room the window that we have is covered by a wall so no sunlight comes through. The room is very worn down the bathroom has tiles missing in the shower and no hot water. The shower door makes the most horrendous screeching sound whenever you open and close is and floods the bathroom if you’re in for too long. I would recommend another hotel in the area as the neighborhood and general vicinity is very nice and lively but this...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was beyond unacceptable. The hotel is currently under heavy construction, which was never mentioned during booking. Starting at 6 AM, nonstop drilling from the room next door made sleep impossible.
The room itself was filthy and in disrepair: Mold covered the bathroom walls. Hair from previous guests was everywhere. Fixtures were broken. Worst of all, the room was crawling with bugs.
This was not just disappointing — it felt deceptive. I strongly advise Agoda to reconsider listing this property until it meets basic standards of hygiene...
