I woke up in the morning and discovered a bed full of bedbugs. My whole body had bites. Now I understand that this is something that sometimes happens in hostels and trips and they have no control over it, but the behavior after that was disgraceful. Instead of helping me, they sent me to wash the things and offered to participate in 50% of the laundry or In return for the night they both go out around 200,000 even though my expenses were much higher, they didn't help, they didn't do anything. the dealings with the staff were difficult and I left here stinging Both physically and financially. i havent seen them dealing with my bed later, i assume they didnt do anything because they didnt even have the bed...
Read moreVery affordable accomodations for (solo) travellers who wont mind staying in a dormitory set-up. Staff are responsive to my queries especially to my concern on late check in. I arrived at the property past 2AM at the staff on duty was there ready to assist. Room and bed is okay, it doesnt feel too crowded. Matress just feel stiff though, but tolerable. Lockers can be used subject to refundable 100,000 vnd deposit. Their cr/showerroom do have bidet, which is a plus for me. It is located approx at the center of the city block, roughly 100m from the street where my Grab dropped me off, and is accessible through an alley that is apparently lined by other hostels. Read moreStayed at Sakura Hostel Saigon and had a pleasant experience overall. The place has a really cozy vibe, and the cutest cats around! The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The location was a bit inconvenient, a little further from the main attractions, but nothing too serious. Despite that, the good service and welcoming atmosphere made up for it.
