Norfolk Mansion, Saigon — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

This is a luxury serviced apartment set within District 1 in Ho Chi Minh city. Location is considered to be premium and pretty accessible to nearby tourist sites or shopping areas, but without the hustle and bustle of people and traffic. The apartment itself is considered huge and well-furnished, with full kitchenette. So it's very convenient for families and long term stays. I think most if not all are 2 bedroom apartments. Additional beds may be available on request. The property has a small swimming pool, sauna/jacuzzi facilities, really good gym, and a library that seems more like a sleeping room. Breakfast is available from 6am till 10am with some good variety, but I reckon they could do with a more. Free WiFi available in each room and pretty good network to add. Beds and pillows seem somewhat hard but I guess this is a small issue. I would consider this place especially if you're bringing your family and more so if you're...

Avoid this place. A few things off the top of my head:

1. The service staff stalk you and behave in a creepy manner, as if the customer works for them.
2. We have mold growing in the closet and they dealt with mold by painting it over, so of course it reappears and continues growth.
3. The A/C units spontaneously combust and start spraying water and/or mold. This has occurred continuously with no solution.
4. Myself and others have suffered food poisoning from their restaurant.
5. The power randomly shuts off -- no generators.
6. The gym equipment is from 35 years or so ago so it is rusting and falling apart.

I guess they charge so much for all these servants that do not have a clue concerning the basics in hospitality, facilities management, and food preservation, but I recommend against making that mistake. There are better...

Norfolk mansion is a five star serviced apartment in central Saigon (district 7). Location of the building is very close to all tourist attractions like Saigon Post Office etc. It is a luxury apartment known for its cleanliness. We stayed in a two bedroom premiere apartment with spacious rooms, lounge, dining area, two bathrooms with bath tub and hot water and a fully equipped kitchen. Air conditioner and washing machine etc were functioning properly. Wi fi was available. The best place was the spacious balcony where from you can view the outside road and big office buildings.
