OYO 126 M&h Hotel — Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

I made this reservation via Agoda (link with Booking.com) that means I chose to pay at hotel.||I came to this hotel to check in at around 16:00 and was informed by the Front desk that they are fully booked at this location: 05 Truong Cong Dinh st. They suggested to change to an alternative hotel names M&H hotel which they said and shown me the pictures to ensure it's also a 3 star hotel which has the same facilities as Cabana.||I spent a whole day with my business and quite tired, so I did not complain as I'm also working in the hospitality, I understood and symphathize this is in pandemic period. ||I agreed to come to the alternative hotel with the Cabana staff.||This alternative hotel located in a small and dark alley nearby (5 minutes on foot).||But:||There is no reception at this alternative place, I had to wait Cabana staff to call then go to the room, which is room 204 by the elevator (it sounds like there is no maintenance). And this hotel looks like some properties which provide hourly room rental in Viet Nam.||The bathroom has stinky smell and it's super dirty (see the pictures). The water inside needs 20 minutes to leak after I took a shower! There are no bathroom facilities except 2 towels!||The mosquitoes fly over my face when I turned off the lights.||The room was cleaned carelessly with tons of dust.||Although the staff did came to ask if I would like to change to another room/hotel with free of charge. And they did came to spay the mosquitoes.||But it's an uncomfortable stay with the irrespectful business from this property management since you will not change anything at 22:00 after a long and tired day.||Thanks Agoda Customer Service team for your promptly supports and suggest to cancel this booking for free as the compensation. But I refused and did not require for any refund as it's not worth!||This review is to remind this property management team to respect your customers rather than focus on hotel income as we, your clients...

We are composed of 11 adults and 3 kids, so looking for a place to stay that could accommodate this group is challenging. Luckily, we found this! Price is good enough so don't expect a high end place if you are that stingy. |They were able to give us 4 Triple Room: 2 Rooms with clogged drain and 2 Rooms with no bathroom doors but with curtains. I think clogged drain will be addressed anytime soon :) Elevator is also available but if you are assigned to level 1 or 2, taking the stairs is also not a bad idea :)|Personally, we prefer to have a bathroom with doors for privacy purposes but if you are travelling as a couple then, the feature might add excitement :p|Teasing aside, the rooms are spacious. They managed to provide the extra pillows/towels we requested. |The highlight of our stay was the receptionist, "Tom". The management should commend him from learning the english language as it helped us communicate properly. Aside from Tom, there is a 24/7 receptionist available. |The place is also incredibly one block away from the Ben Than Market and even with other landmarks such as: Independence Palace, War Remnants,...

Cannot speak highly enough of this place. We had visited 4 other hotels in HCM city, all with tonnes of 5 star reviews to later discover they were forged and the place was dirty and noisy!

So to find M&H was brilliant. They were great value for money, air conditioner worked great, rooms were very tidy and clean. The location is amazing being so close to Ben Thanh markets and given that I can compare, it was by far the quietest and easiest to rest at!
