Worst hotel ever!!!. Please becareful of these scammers. We initially booked 2 rooms for 5 nights from Agoda. We booked 1 family room with 2 double beds and other room booked was 2 single beds. The pics looked very nice and clean. When we arrived to the hotel the rooms they gave us did not look anything like the pictures.... They family room they gave us was very small and consisted of 1 double bed and 2 very small single beds. The 2nd room they gave us was 1 double bed! It suppose to be 2 single beds in the booking and booking was confirmed. We went down to complain about the room bedding configuration. On the way down I saw a big RAT running around in the hallway... Anyway, they ended up changing us to another room saying that it's their "best room available" The NEW room they gave us was also 1 double bed and 1 single bed Plus 1 single mattress. I mean we did Book for 2 double beds and booking was confirmed. They said all the rooms with 2 double beds are fully booked... Moving into the new room.. The room was very dirty and the bathroom door does not close! The bathroom door did not close for privacy, also one single bed had a door just right near it (a door that has been locked) during the night I could hear noises from the other strangers room which was very noisy we could not sleep at all. they were making packing or scratching noises on the door. there were insects crawling on my legs when sleeping. My kids did not get any sleep they were very scared. It was very frustrating and I was too tired at that time. We just arrived from Phu Quoc that evening and everyone was tired. After being very frustrated about the stay we decided we could not stay any longer in that hotel. We only stayed for 1 night at that hotel. 5 nights was booked and Fully PAID for but my family did not want to stay there. I have kindly asked the hotel staff for a partial refund but they refused to give any refund. The staff was very rude and did not want to give us a room that we initially booked for so we just left the hotel for good. It was a very bad experience. I will never come back...
Read moreBeware of scamming.||||We were moved here from their sister hotel as we were told the rooms were "damaged" but as it was Chinese new year we believe our rooms were given to other patrons. From the original stay we were put into a taxi they paid for and were told the rooms would be the same price.||||Once we arrived we paid the agreed price posted on booking.com for the rooms we originally booked in their sister hotel and went to our room. 2 minutes after entering our room the receptionist that took our payment appeared at our door and told us we had only paid half, insisting that we pay again. ||||After telling him we were promised the same price for the room he only gave up once we had shown him the payment in our banking app and the price posted on our reservation through booking.com. He said he'd check and scampered back down to the reception. After this the price was not mentioned again and we did not have further interaction with the staff until checkout, where they made us wait despite being told we had a plane to catch so they could check the room. Luckily we left it spotless so they were not in a position to charge us further.||||The room itself was okay, other reviews mention rats and other vermin being seen. We did not see this, however the bathroom did have mold and we could hear everything happening outside our door like it was open.||||Considering we were put out and had to change to a hotel with a lower rating and further away from where we had planned to be, the hotel staff, while friendly, even when attempting to scam us did not offer any concessions or to make up for the inconvenience in any way, shape or form. We did not complain or make an issue while we were there to ensure that they didn't make us leave or charge us further, so this treatment does feel...
Read moreWarning: Avoid Queen Central Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City at All Costs!
My stay at Queen Central Hotel was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my experience to protect future guests from making the same mistake. This place is an absolute disgrace and should not be rated higher than 1 star—if that.
I booked what was supposed to be the best room in the hotel, only to find sewage from other rooms flooding into my bathroom. Yes, you read that correctly—actual sewage! The stench of urine and waste permeated the entire room, making it utterly uninhabitable. Despite numerous complaints to the staff, I was simply moved to a smaller room across the hall, with no compensation whatsoever for the downgrade.
The new room was no better. It was infested with a moldy smell and had no hot water. When I asked about the lack of hot water, I was told that the solar panels on the roof would heat it, but after waiting three days, I was forced to take cold showers! This is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to be a 3-star establishment.
To add insult to injury, when I checked out, I was charged 100,000 dong for a "dirty" towel. This felt like a blatant money grab, especially given the appalling conditions I dealt with throughout my stay. While I will say that some of the female staff were kind and tried to be helpful, the older staff members were rude and clearly more interested in profiting off guests rather than providing any level of service.
Do yourself a favor and avoid Queen Central Hotel. There are plenty of other accommodations in Ho Chi Minh City that actually prioritize guest comfort and satisfaction. Save your money and your sanity—this hotel is not...
