My partner and I stayed for 32 days so you could say we have a good idea of what Silverland May has to offer. To give more context we had previously stayed at Silverland Sakyo on multiple occasion's as well. Amenities - The pool is sensational rain/storms/sunshine it is always the most glorious experience. The breakfast food was more limited than what Silverland Sakyo had BUT what they did have was of an incredibly high standard and quality. The in-house smoked honey leg ham…..was SENSATIONAL! Gym is amazing with high quality and air conditioned. Staff Door staff…….i cannot speak any highly of the door staff they know you by name and ask how your day was/is whilst always keeping an eye out for you if the weather looks off they will be reminding you about an umbrella or on occasion to send you off with one to be safe. Thong 10/10 was a stand out energetic/bubbly/friendly/personable person who is masterful both when working and not working . Pool staff - They are unintentionally cold and can make you feel like you are almost a bother for being at the pool. Breakfast/Lunch/Afternoon tea staff - They would float between some of the most warm and comforting people. On the other side some approached with a dismissive request daily for what our room number was regardless if it was day 1 or day 32. Room cleaning - The rooms were always cleaned to a high standard. Though on occasion dirty dishes were left behind on the odd occasion. On at least 6 occasions we would have to request to have a laundry bag brought to a room as they would forget to leave one in our room. Overall - The experience was incredible minor hiccups that the hotel staff were on EVERY occasion were on to a remedy for that situation immediately. It is an incredible premium hotel that would be perfect for anyone couples/singles/business/LGBT friendly

We booked this hotel due to the semi covered roof top pool & proximity in city, having stayed on the river last time we visited. Reservations were prompt in communications, our flight was delayed by 6 hours & we didn’t arrive until 245am, but reception staff stayed in contact by email & what’s app. Upon arrival & cleared through immigration, we went outside & we were met by our friendly driver at pole 9, he was holding a Silverland Hotel sign, a short drive & we arrived at the hotel we were met with a friendly smile at checkin which was completed with ease. Room 205 is very large a queen & king single, all amenities we needed were in the room & had block out curtains, safe & a small fridge. Bathroom is on small side but practical, a fixed roller blind pulls down from the ceiling to stop water going on floor but it didn’t work too well, a shower curtain inside the bath would be a better option. We were on the 2nd floor but found it was not noisy from the street at all, windows are double glazed, Pool area is great, plenty of chairs, lounges, day beds & a couple of hammocks & a beach area with bean bags for the kids. a massive TV screen for movies, there is also a bar with friendly staff & provide a great service. At night after dinner service, it turns into a nightclub area. Breakfast has plenty of fresh food options for western & asian diets & the staff are friendly & accomodating. The day spa is very nice & provides a range of services - we had the KL signature massage & a hot stone massage & both masseuse were fantastic, thoroughly relaxing time. Overall it’s the little things that make a stay enjoyable & this hotel thrives on friendly & great service. Highly recommend this hotel. Thank you

On arrival, we were greeted at the airport by the hotel representative and we had private transfer to the hotel. Our first impression of the hotel was excellent. The hotel is modern and tastefully decorated. We were offered a welcome drink as we arrived. Checking was quick and friendly. The hotel is conveniently located and is a great base to explore HCMC from. Our room is clean, airy and spacious. Welcome fruit, bath robes and slippers are a nice touch. You get your daily supply of bottled water. There is a fridge should you wish to get something from the convenience store (which is 3 minutes walk away). In the bathroom there is a Japanese toilet seat as well as a bath tub. The air conditioning is good and keeps the room cool. The room is quiet. The buffet breakfast is excellent. There is a variety of food to choose from as well as an egg/pho station. The setting is very nice and service is very friendly. The hotel also free afternoon tea. Like breakfast, the is a varied selection. In addition, there is live music in the background. The roof top swimming pool is a nice size and the water temperature is pleasant. There is a bar, several hammocks and a small sandpit for kids. One floor down is a sauna, steam room and spa facilities. It is really easy to contact the hotel by email or WhatsApp which is great should you have any questions. They are very quick with their responses. We booked directly with the hotel, it is even cheaper than hotel websites and you get better communication. We love this hotel. We would highly recommend it. We would will definitely come back next time we visit HCMC. 5* 👍👍👍👍👍

FREE ROOM UPGRADE AND EARLY CHECK-IN! I booked a total of 4 nights in two separate bookings as Trip.com had promo codes. I booked Deluxe Twin room and only found out that this room had no windows (they changed the room name to Narra no windows a few days before my check-in date), and I was sad that I could not cancel the booking as it was prepaid. To my surprise, they upgraded my room to Premier Twin room (with windows) for free when I checked in, without me even asking! I have been to ho chi minh 4 times now and this was the best stay I had experienced in ho chi minh. I always researched the hotels by reading all the reviews before finally booking one, and I am really glad I booked Silverland May Hotel!!Pros:- Early check-in at 12+pm (usual check-in 3pm)- No language barrier with the staff (all staff understood English pretty well)- Buffet breakfast had at least 2 variations, they also have a separate menu offering food choices off the normal buffet spread (you can ask them for it) (best choices: almond croissants & ham, egg and cheese sandwich)- Hotel Spa is a MUST TRY. I tried it and did not go for outside spas that I had planned to go. Went to the hotel spa and did 3 services in 2 days! (1) Relaxing Package costing 1,200,000 VND (2hrs): Swedish massage, Body scrub (exfoliate with himalayan salt), Body wrap (nourish in oat & milk i believe) (2) Facial spa costing 900,000 VND (~45min): Mild exfoliation and nourishment (my face felt super clean and brightened a lot after the spa! would do it again if i could) (3) Hotstone massage costing 800,000 VND (1hr): just wanted to try a different kind of massage but I still prefer the swedish massage (the heat of the hotstones was out of my comfort zone haha)- The hotel restaurant / cafe / in-room dining food choices were good too: best was the Beef Phó, it had more ingredients than phó selling outside. We went to the hotel cafe and was surprisingly offered 50% off our cakes so of course we had to order! The cafe offers the same food menu that the hotel restaurant offers, they will cook it and serve it to you if you are sitting in the cafe at Level G.- Free afternoon tea (but I missed all four days of the tea session so no comments)- Rooftop pool was very pretty and chill.Cons:- The quality of the tissue in the hotel rooms are bad. So thin and filmsy (2-ply). I bought my own 3-ply tissue and did not use the tissue in the rooms at all.- Could have offered disposable bedroom slippers which would be more hygienic.- Water pressure was not very strong, had to stand so close to...

Disappointing Experience [Not Worth the Stay]I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, the experience was far below expectations, especially considering my physical condition at the time. Upon arrival, there was no staff at the entrance. no bellboy or anyone to assist with luggage. As someone recovering from neck and spine issues, I genuinely needed help carrying my bags up the stairs to the lobby. I was prepared to tip for assistance, but there was simply no one available. This lack of basic service was both surprising and disappointing. At the reception, the experience did not improve. The receptionist was visibly unwelcoming and lacked the basic courtesy of a smile. It felt as though guests were a burden rather than being valued. As a frequent traveler to HCMC for business, I’ve encountered much better service even in more modest establishments. The room itself was in poor condition. The interior was outdated, and there were clear signs of neglect, mold in the silicone around the bathtub and basin, yellow stains on the supposedly white cabinet, and watermarks on the sofa. The overall environment felt run-down and unclean. Despite all this, I still gave a tip to the housekeeping staff out of respect, as I understand they work hard, but it’s clear that the hotel’s maintenance and management are lacking. The only redeeming part of the stay was the breakfast, which I would rate 5 stars. The food was satisfying and well prepared.Unfortunately, that alone does not justify the overall experience. Given my regular travel to HCMC every two weeks for several years, I know there are many other hotels in the city that offer far better service, cleanliness, and value. I truly felt let down and would not recommend this...
