I order a spicy and sour chicken soup. They accommodated me since I can’t eat spicy at all. The waitress confirm twice the order. But then I got a pork sour soup… they messed the order. I told them, I understand it can happen. But it could had lead to bigger problem for people who has allergy or religious behavior. So many people there. My soup was good. I love it but then
The delivery of the dishes were not good. I was with my friend who had to wait more than 10min for her dishes… and to have ridiculous chicken brochette. We intercept a waitress because it looks so different from the picture on the menu and confront it to them. I understand that they have a hierarchy and process to follow but it’s not okay to have more than 3 people taking your dishes explain the complain and then asking us to weight the brochette. We give them solutions. Make more to balance the price and quantity or a discount. The manager did apologized and offer a dessert to make it up.

I regret to say that my recent visit to Som Tum left much to be desired. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that the service was lacking. Despite there being only two of us, the organization of the food serving was abysmal.
We ordered four dishes, expecting them to be brought out in a timely manner. However, what ensued was a painfully slow procession of plates, each dish arriving 10-15 minutes apart. This disjointed serving style completely disrupted the flow of our meal, leaving us frustrated and unsatisfied.
Not only was the service poor, but the quality of the food did little to redeem the experience. While the flavors were passable, the lack of attention to detail and presentation was evident. It's disheartening to see such potential squandered by subpar execution.
Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend Som Tum to fellow diners. Until they address their service issues and improve the organization of their kitchen, I fear others will encounter the same disappointment that my dining companion and I...

Upon asking receipt staff insisted to charge, I disputed, staff back and forth and mentioned to give discount! Including mentioned its original smell and taste, I asked if they tasted it, since I’m originally from Thailand and the taste isn’t what it is and it’s off!
Back and forth - staff disputed, insisted not to pay for the food I didn’t consume, which I don’t think it’s too much of a request!
Not an issue paying but it’s the principle that counts. No one word of apology, no remorse, regret nor solutions.
Disappointed to say the least, have visited in the past and had no issues. Ended up waiting 15+ minutes and staff finally took it off the receipt.
