Long Chau Hotel — Hotel in Nha Trang City

We booked our first night in Nha Trang on the internet, but, and because we have had recent bad experiences when booking for multiple nights and find the hotel was not as advertised, we spent the first evening looking for a hotel for the duration of our five night stay in Nha Trang. The one we got, Nha Trang Beach Hotel, was noisy, old and very dirty.||||We tried at one hotel and it was full, but one of the managers referred us to Long Chau. He actually took us over personally. Vietnamese people are just so nice and helpful .||||The Long Chau is a family hotel. It is small and down a quiet alley way, off the busy streets and is brand new, so everything is modern and upscale. The rooms are very reasonable and the hotel is immaculately clean. The staff (family) is very helpful and attentive. I felt very safe here. ||||Please keep in mind, this is a traditional Vietnamese hotel. It is basic and clean. No frills or western amenities, like a sauna, restaurant or pool. But, for under $30USD a night.....it is well worth it. ||||This will definitely be my hotel of choice...
