What a place
Food | So I walked in, ordered the gypsy schnitzel with fried potato. Honestly loved every single bite. I don't gush about food often but this felt homely, and I'm not even german. The food was prepared quickly and yet the quality was just amazing, thanks to this food, I'm excited to visit Germany. Service | The service was spectacular. Happy welcome, they asked how the food was, they were very pleased to see me enjoying my food and I felt like I wasn't an intrusion. Atmosphere | As a vibe, it felt authentically German (I have not been to Germany) but it fits my assumption and it took me out of vietnam for an hour. As I was eating it felt like I was being fed by German parents. Thats how great it was. I came so late and was by myself eating. So i felt very much happy to be there. Overall, if you're visiting Nha Trang, get this on your to eat list. I don't care that it's not Vietnamese, it's delicious food served by...
Read moreI find each and every visit to Haus Bremen a pleasure with courteous service provided in person by Dieter and a dedicated wife who shows termendous skills in providing authentic German food. Looking at the Korean review just posted yesterday, I wonder, what made this man an expert on German food, but by looking at his company, he may have aquired a taste in Vietnamese take away. Is that how you thank your host? I wonder, that with all the help you nowadays get on your mobile phone in finding a restaurant or any other place, his skills were not developped that far, having his escort having to call several times in order to find the place. I...
Read moreAfter discovering this restaurant through a google search of good eats in the area I looked at the reviews and thought it'd be worth a look, and a nice change of pace from our regular local diet (which we enjoy, but it's nice to have some familiar, homely food). It was great.
We settled on the shared plate for two and, just, finished it. Sure, it's on the pricier side compared to local food, but it's not local. And, when you draw a comparison to what you'd pay at home, it's still a really good value meal for two.
As we were there earlier in the evening we were lucky enough to be able to chat freely with Dieter, the owner. It was nice to hear about how they got this place going, and other things.
Thanks again Dieter, and your excellent chef - enjoy your holiday, and...
