Another Great Find: Anna's Nhà Cuốn Delights!

Conveniently situated near our hotel, Anna's Nhà Cuốn Restaurant beckoned with a promising menu, and it certainly delivered on that promise.

We were thoroughly impressed with the generous portion sizes that accompanied each delicious dish, ensuring a truly satisfying meal.

The restaurant boasts a fantastic array of choices, all offered at prices that felt very reasonable for the quality and quantity received.

A standout for us was the refreshing passion fruit iced tea – an absolute must-try! The traditional Vietnamese cuisine here truly shines, with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients.

While the savory dishes were exceptional, those accustomed to Western-style desserts might find the local interpretations different from their expectations; however, this is a minor point in an otherwise stellar dining experience.

As a delightful bonus, we discovered an amazing gift shop on the premises, stocked with unique souvenirs, including some very cool fridge magnets – perfect for taking a piece of Phu Quoc home.

The food at this restaurant was okay—nothing exceptional, but decent overall. Most of the staff were friendly and provided service with a smile, which we appreciated.

However, the experience was slightly dampened during checkout. A female staff (with a mole on her face or near her mouth) had a noticeably unfriendly attitude. When I asked about the extra 3% charge (card payment surcharge) and whether this was standard practice for restaurants in Phu Quoc, she didn’t quite understand the ask and responded in a dismissive or impatient manner. I’m not sure if it was just my perception, but it left a it was my negative impression.

Wonderful food and service. We tried the summer rolls and the pork skewers along with some cocktails and were quite amazed by how flavourful each dish was. It's a bit on the pricier side compared to other restaurants in the same area, but you will not mind the prices as the taste, portion sizes and overall setting and ambience of the place are well justified against the cost. Additionally the servers and hosts are so nice and friendly, taking time to understand our requests and offering sound local guidance and advice.
