Galaxy Hotel Phú Quốc — Hotel in Phú Quốc

I booked for 2 people and came with 3. Because the website said add 1'person only need to pay 80,000vnd/day for breakfast and nothing else. But when we got here they said is 200,000vnd/day not 80,000vnd. 80,000vnd is for kids. Okay is fine. The next day we went for breakfast and the breakfast is not worth it 200,000vnd and we don't have much choice. Only about 5 choices for us. And on the day we check out, they check our room when and found a can of 7up that was opened in the fridge. And asked if we drink it. The can of 7up has just a tiny little bit left. We didn't drink any of their soda. Yeah if we drink it why do we put it back in the fridge when there's a tiny little left. We didn't drink it still have to pay for it. Factoring out the surrounding building site, the Galaxy Hotel is reasonable. The rooms are comfortable, Wifi was good, bathroom small but effective and AC was good. They also provided free passes to the Moon Resort which got us access to the beach.The staff at reception were helpful and attentive.||||However, there is a huge building site on the southern side of the hotel. In January 2016 they were beginning construction of what looked like another hotel,. This involves breaking ground which as anyone who knows construction knows, is the noisiest part as it involves breaking down rocks and excavation for foundations.||||The resulting noise (7am - 6:45pm every day) was a problem but so was the debris and the construction traffic around the hotel.||||[Important to note that none of the issues relating to the construction site is the fault of the hotel but it does affect...

Glad we found this place, we hit lucky and were offered a lovely spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite on the top floor with a gorgeous huge balcony overlooking the main street and with sea views. It is in a good location with a selection of bars, restaurants, mini marts and motorbike rental places nearby. The bed is big and very comfortable, there is ample wardrobe space, a fridge with mini bar, daily complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathrooms have plenty hot water, one with a shower cubicle and the other with a shower over the bath tub, complimentary toiletries are provided.
