Highland Bungalow — Hotel in Phú Quốc

I decided to make a trip out to Phu Quoc last minute and saw on my booking app that Highland Bungalow was in a convenient location (Duong Dong, the island's biggest town) and for a reasonable price.||||The rooms are nice, clean, and spacious. And the family that runs the place is very friendly, ready to help with anything I asked for. The beach, night market, and several restaurants are in walking distance from the hotel.||||I definitely recommend renting a motorbike, as the island is huge and all the attractions are quite far from each other. Taxis can be difficult to find while visiting those places, and the fare can easily add up to 500,000 to 1,000,000 VND per day.||||Fortunately, the staff at Highland Bungalow provided my with a nice, newer model motorbike (Honda Airblade) that made driving around the island very easy for 150,000 VND per day.||||The only complaint I have is that I was staying in one of the two front bungalows, and the traffic from the street can be a bit loud during the day. It's quiet at night, however, and most of the bungalows are further back...

Arriving at Highland Bungalow we knew right away we had done a good choice!|A warm welcome and we are showed to our pretty, spacious and immaculately clean bungalow (#7). We stayed for 6 nights.|Each of the 10 bungalows is separate from each other and has a lovely, covered sitting area in the front. |Good Wi-Fi connection, a small fridge in the room along with free coffee and tea and a shared kitchenette if you want to cook something. |It is a family run business and everybody is always very cheerful, polite and hard working around the property.|The room and bathroom are spacious, comfortable beds (yes, the matresses are harder than we are used to in North America but that is everywhere in Asia!) and they feature a very efficient and silent A/C system.|7 minutes walk from the beach, close to many restaurants and cafes and only 2 km from the main town.|We would not hesitate to come back here for our vacation! |Keep up...
