Really like this place, relatively cheap while maintaining quite high standard. Initially booked two nights, had to extend it twice (we added two nights at a time) since we liked it so much and didnt want to leave just yet. Its quiet, rooms are clean, the family who runs it is very nice, friendly andhelpful. They have a small shop where you can buy some snacks (nuts, chips, some candy, ice cream for example) and drinks (water, ice coffee, sodas, beer and others, also an ok selection of stronger stuff) and a bunch of other stuff like sunscreen and similar. Everything seems very decently priced as well, water and beers is about as cheap as at the stores for example. We rented a motorbike two days and went driving around the island, it worked well and they seem to maintain them quite ok. Pointed out that the front wheel break should be tightened a bit when checking it before departure and they fixed it in a minute, otherwise no problems at all.
Only noise that could be an issue for people would be the occasional cricket (had one just outside our door one night, but it went quiet in under an hour) and the refrigerator which was a bit noisy, although that can be turned off during nights. The ac and similar was very quiet and worked very well.
Beds are on the harder end, but worked well for us even though we really prefer soft beds.
We left our laundry with them and it came back clean and folded, cost was...
Read moreEXCELLENT- this is a family owned and operated business. Kind, Caring and interested in you as a guest. The restaurant menus is VALUE DELICIOUS. I noticed locals eating here as much as hotel guest. I ordered the same thing three days in a row - so good. Probably missed another delicious flavor but why take a chance when you are in “tastebud heaven “. Enjoying every bite of hot mushroom & pineapple in small oven baked pot with delicious other ingredients. Along with jasmine rice and fresh soft greens, vine ripe tomatoes, cucumbers, shaved carrots and very thin sliced radishes. On the third day, I realized what appeared as the senior family member went every morning early to the fresh market Returning with more individual bags from different growers than seems possible to carry on a motor bike.
On my first day, of five days staying here, my shoe sole separated from the upper, 10 steps from the entrance. I returned. One family member, always at the front desk, noticed my situation. They offered two types of glue. Soon, I was back on the path to discover the Island.
I highly recommend you stay here in this wonderful family and...
Read moreBooked in for two nights, ended up extending for another 4. The hosts were a close family who couldn't do enough for us. They left us to enjoy ourselves and gave us all the information we needed for getting around phu quoc. They have a well priced shop that you can pretty much get anything from, and bikes are slightly cheaper than other places. You can do laundry also, and they would clean your room every day for you with fresh towels. ||The best part was they booked a private boat tour for us and it was so much cheaper than any of the tour companies. Pretty much half the price! So I'd say, stay here, book a private boat and enjoy!...
