I spent 8 nights with my toddler at Leaf hotel and I’d say the hotel service was exceptional, truly felt like a home away from home. The room was clean, bed super comfy, towels fluffy and ac worked crisp and nice. It was quiet and peaceful. And I really loved the general concept of the hotel, kind of a mixture between bohemian and industrial style. The staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was so yummy everyday (already missing the breakfast) with various choices from fruit bowls, eggs and ham to traditional pho soups. The location is great as you can find cheap eats and drinks from the neighbourhood. There’s a lovely, spacious cafe just close to the hotel called Uyen Uyen which’s owned by a lovely lady. My son liked to play with her granddaughter. A beach is some 10 mins walk away but it’s a good opportunity to get to know the glimpse of a local life. We got fresh beach towels everyday from the reception. My son threw away his toy plane from the hotel rooftop thinking it might fly which ended up on the neighbour’s rooftop far down below and we thought it was gone for good, but somehow they managed to get it for us which made my son very happy. All in all, I’d definitely recommend the hotel and would stay here again if we were to visit the island again. Such a great value for the price they offer. Traveling to a tropical country, I was a bit worried about various bugs and pest but never saw one in my room or...
Read moreOverall Experience: We had a really pleasant stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had a fresh, welcoming scent that made a great first impression. The 2-bedroom layout was just right for our family of four, and everything felt well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged.
What We Loved: The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—Chang and driver Tien really stood out with their kindness and local tips. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the rooftop each morning—it was such a peaceful way to start the day. Having access to refillable drinking water anytime was a big plus—eco-friendly and super convenient. Free towels when you visit the pool/beach. Booking driver Tien for local trips was easy, and Tien made the rides enjoyable by pointing out interesting spots along the way.
What Could Be Better: The breakfast was okay, but there weren’t many options, especially noticeable during our 3-night stay. Suggestion: It would be great to have a rotating breakfast menu or a few customizable choices to keep things interesting for guests...
Read moreits quiet, cheap and close to the airport. i think those are the main selling points. when i walked in the room there was a previous soap on the bathroom sink and the entire toilet seat was up - i thought that was strange. not sure just how new the hotel is but doesnt seem like its being properly maintained which is a shame because the decor is nice. the room itself is a pretty decent size. mattress is uncomfortable and i woke up sore every time. the balcony with chairs and a table was nice for some fresh air. shower has seen better days but not completely terrible. at least the water was nice and hot. but there was a cockroach in the bathroom. location is quiet because its far from all the action. but there are still some dining options within walking distance. the rooftop was nice if you wanted to dine or sit...
