Looking for a fine dining experience and true Italian taste on Phu Quoc island? THIS is the place to go! First, the staffs are super welcoming. They recognized and mentioned my name when we arrived at the lobby asking for directions to the restaurant. Yes, old techniques but still works marvellously. Second, the atmosphere and ambience were perfect! Beautifully painted mural and romantic settings with the combination of lightings and plants. Third, the food was true Italian taste presented in fine dining style. We had the grilled octopus, the fritto misto, 2 types of pastas and the tonno. All beautifully and perfectly made. The wine went flawlessly well with all the dishes, making this the best dinner we had so far during our week on the island. Unfortunately we didn't manage to try to tiramisu. There was a live music bar lounge right next to the restaurant, should you wish to chill out after dinner, that might be the place to go to. In short, it was such a pleasant dining experience. Price was a bit high but I still recommend...
Read moreWe were so looking forward to have a great Italian dinner . What a disappointment it was . Still can not believe that the food we had was prepared by a high end chef . My husband had the tuna which it seems was cooked before it completely thawed . It was impossible to chew / eat . It looked like a prop food , you can see the picture . The server noticed the plate pushed aside and asked what happened . She offered to bring another dish , he chose the ravioli . The dough was very thick and chewy , the sauce hardly acceptable. My lobster tagliatelle had a very nice presentation but the sauce was really bland . One of our friends had the scallops which were tasteless and chewy . And the prices , as other customers said were really high for Vietnam . We knew the prices in advance , did not have a problem with , just wanted great Italian food . It is really hard to understand how any respectable restaurant and the chef could serve such mediocre and some inedible.food . Bottom line , our dinner was a...
Read moreAs a foreigner living in Phu Quoc, It was my first time at this Restaurant. I started with a poolside glass of wine, a meal at the Italian Restaurant then a drink in the bar to enjoy the music, from Caroline and Manila Sound Band. The wine was very high quality. I had the seared Tuna, followed by the Jasmin flower ice Cream. Both dishes were delicious. I also asked for Gluten free options and the staff and chefs were very accommodating. The service was very friendly, fast and not pretentious. Doyen and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and kind. Overall it was a 5 star experience. I’d highly recommend this...
