⭐☆☆☆☆ Terrible experience – I do not recommend this place to anyone.
My stay at Hahaland Homestay was one of the worst experiences I’ve had while traveling in Vietnam. Here’s why:
The room was extremely dirty and lacked basic amenities like toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, and shower gel.
When I asked about shampoo and shower gel, they told me to walk to the front desk myself to get it, with a very unwelcoming attitude. They only gave me shampoo and said “our guests don’t need shower gel because most of them are Westerners” – implying I was not the kind of guest they cared about.
When I asked for a room key to lock my door, the owner immediately demanded a deposit. I then asked if they would take responsibility if anything was stolen – and he got angry and raised his voice.
The reception area is hidden and located more than 30 meters from the entrance. I entered the parking area and couldn’t find where to check in. The owner saw me but ignored me completely.
Most power outlets in the room didn’t work, which made it impossible to charge my devices.
The water slide and zipline are poorly designed and potentially dangerous. Serious accidents could happen if you're not careful.
There’s a billiards table, but it’s old and dirty. The balls haven’t been cleaned for ages. It’s not a fun experience at all. add: when i was still half asleep in the early morning, there was a very loud noise that lasted for 3 hours and i couldn't sleep. maybe the owner wanted the guest to wake up early to check out.
❌ In conclusion: Cheap price comes with poor service. If you want to enjoy your trip to Quang Binh, please stay somewhere else. This homestay completely ruined my experience, and I strongly advise future travelers...
