Phong Nha Tuan Garden House — Hotel in Quảng Bình Province

Clean and tidy rooms in a hostel with a good atmosphere. We were so pleasantly surprised during our time at the hostel, the vibe of the place was great and the family dinner they host every night was delicious (we requested vegetarian) and it was a great chance to meet new people/share travel stories. There is a big pool and some pool tables that were being used while we were there.

The host Hung and his family were very friendly and accommodating, I think Hung would bend over backwards to make sure everything was running smoothly and all travellers needs were met. He offered to pick us up from the bus station in town, dropped us off again at the end of our stay, arranged the bus tickets, we hired bikes from him, he gave advice on where to go/what to do while in Phong Nha, and let us shower (despite having checked out earlier that day) before our overnight bus. He generally just seemed to keep the ship running smoothly with a smile on his face!

We stayed here to visit Phong Nha Cave at the end of December. We were traveling with the whole family of 25 so we booked the whole house, which was great and so was the price!! The swimming pool was big enough (but we didn’t use it as the weather was too cold). The pool table and soccer table kept everyone entertained during the evening. Seating areas everywhere so plenty of space to move around. Tuan Garden House provided everything, from a delicious evening meal to a scrumptious breakfast and a very tasty lunch. They even have airport transportation and sell cave tickets, which was very convenient for us as it took away all the stress of planning our trip with a big family. I am so grateful we found this place. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything we needed. It fit us perfectly for our purposes. Pros The host kindly offered to pick us up from the bus stop for free The rooms and general areas were nice enough and there was an overall nice vibe at the hostel Its easy walking distance to main town The food was nice although family dinner seemed a bit overpriced to what we've seen other places lots of vegetarian options for eating we were very kindly given banana pancakes for our journey on our bus onwards Cons We felt at points like some of the services offered were a rip off, despite claiming 'local prices '. For example, a car hire to the waterpark, was quoted as 600,000vnd , but when we checked ourself with a local company we got two easy riders for 500,000 vnd. Overall it was a nice enough stay and probably a more appropriate choice for families travelling.
