PHONG NHA FAMILY RESTAURANT (NHÀ HÀNG GIA ĐÌNH VIỆT NAM) — Restaurant in Quảng Bình Province

I ordered the rice noodles with barbecue (bún thit nuóng). The cook left on a motorbike after I ordered and came back after about 5 min with a Styrofoam box. Because the kitchen is right next to the tables with no separating walls, I was able to watch as he opened the box and dumped noodles and roast pork into a bowl, adding a few lettuce leaves as garnish. He then walked the bowl out and served it to me. Normally bún thit nuóng has a lot of herbs and fresh vegetables. Having witnessed the past few minutes, I asked where the vegetables are. He took the bowl back and (because no separation between kitchen and tables), proceeded to add a little papaya salad to the top (Still no greens or herbs beyond a few lettuce leaves) This would have been okay, but then when he returned the bowl to me, he claimed the papaya salad had been on the bottom, and I had just failed to mix it. I wondered if I should tell him we can literally see everything he does in the kitchen, but I thought better of it.

My companion ordered the Nem lụi, which was okay, but portions were smaller than we've had other places. My recommendation is to avoid this place and find better...

Fake restaurant... ( Not for tour) I don't want to write this review but all my group members do not like this one. I am a tourguide, i lead a group of 10 people to eat for lunch from here because I just believe in reviews from GG map. My customers told to me do not come back here anymore. Because they so dishonest when my customer oder chicken pho ( they brought chicken with beef broth)... My customer very do not like about beef. Plus to me they forgot about my ordered when I asked to change the owner very unhappy about that, He blamed me as a strict person... and then he gave us as the bow old rice with the long hair inside which is very unfriendly and less respect for us. More over the owner after that say sorry about that many times and gave us some bananas, i am almost forgive that. But my driver and customers still do not like this one so much. If you are as a tourguide like me, you should chose another one, this one not really like only restaurant but they also the hostel mean just a part...

I was excited reading all the good comments but it ended up with the worst pho experience ever. The broth lacked flavor, and the meat quality and quantity were below par compared to other places. The quality of other dishes was disappointing too. Despite friendly staff, the service was slow in taking orders and serving food. I wouldn't recommend this place; you'd be better off spending your money elsewhere for a more satisfying meal.

The owner replied to my comment, trying to act like they remember me, but the info they gave was way off. I only ordered 3 dishes and waited over 40 minutes for my food. It feels like they're just trying to look good instead of actually addressing the problems.
