I hate whatever dumb ordering system you have in place for these restaurants. I was coming home from the shops with my girlfriends food and it was going to take me 15 minutes to get to taco bell to pick up mine on the way home, so I scheduled the pickup for 2:40 to 2:50. After picking this option, i received a text saying that my order would actually be completed between 2:50-3:00, and then another text afterwards saying my order would be completed between 3:00 and 3:05. As i arrived at the carpark at 2:43 and saw this message, I decided I may as well drop the other food I had home and come back as that would take the 20 minutes till my order was supposedly ready. I received no confirmation text that my order was done but upon going into the store at 3:05, I found that my order had actually been made at 2:43 and had just been sitting there for 20 minutes with no confirmation text and by the time i got home my food was over 30 minutes old. If im ordering to pickup at 2:40-2:50 dont send me a text confirming for 2:50-3:00 and then another saying its ready at 3:05 if you're gonna actually make it at 2:43 anyways. Read moreI’m writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent experience at the Taco Bell Coorparoo drive-thru on Friday, 3 October 2025, at around 6:23 PM. When I reached the window, I showed my barcode as I had exceeded 100 reward points and asked if I could use them for my order. The team member at the window appeared visibly annoyed and ignored me at first. I repeated my request, and although she scanned the barcode, she did not apply the points. When I politely asked again, she seemed frustrated, kept tapping on the screen, and then called another team member. Unfortunately, the second staff member behaved in a similar manner and told me to “use it next time” without any proper explanation. I genuinely love Taco Bell — your food is always great — but I’ve noticed that the service at the Coorparoo drive-thru is consistently rude, especially from some of the female staff members. I completely understand that technology can sometimes fail, but there’s no reason for customers to be treated disrespectfully, especially when the store and drive-thru are not busy. The two female staff who were on shift on the 20th of October at 9:30pm were extremely rude to both my partner and myself. My service I received at the till from the woman with the glasses and slightly red hair was rushed and unkind whilst I tried to decide my order as I have only visited Taco Bell once previously. Once we received our meals including two loaded fries, we have noticed that the serving size of each were significantly different from each other. When we tried to point this out to staff we received no help and ended up asking for more fries which we received. Whilst we then sat back down to eat our food another female staff member with blonde hair came to the tills, peaked out at us and made a face at us.
