It was ok I guess, this is the 2nd time i came, the last time was years ago when i tried those japanese fish shaped taiyaki
it was dry, i was hoping it was crunchy, it was neither crunchy nor soft, and the red bean paste was meh
round two 11/1/2025 years later, the croissants sticks were as expected good regardless if they were cold or not (because you can't always expect to get a hot fresh batch its the luck of the draw)
but the pancakes, well i got two, custard was ok but the consistency can be abit more firmer, tasted a lil watered down, and the the 2nd was butter raisin, this was nothing but dry powder, uh, what? lol....powder? I was expecting a butter flavoured filling with sweet raisins, it was like sawdust
i could be wrong but going up the hall to "hot cake house" they were there before "papas pancakes" if you're going to open a competing alternative you need to have something on par in quality or cheaper (preferably both) 6/10 pancakes

The flavours are broad but limited to the regular flavours you expect from an Asian dessert place, except for butter and raisin which sounded unique.
I read from the other reviews that the freshness can be a hit or miss, so I decided to go with the coconut flavour which was completely full, so I thought it might have been freshly stocked.
The hot cake was very much quite warm and tasted sooo good. The coconut filling was tasty and generous, and the price was so insanely cheap at only $2 per hot cake.
Definitely impressed and will be back to try out the...
