The Cube Hot Pot — Restaurant in Brisbane City

called early in the morning to make a table booking for 7pm, the man on the phone got my name and number down and said see you tonight. I arrive there before 7 to be told “we have no tables”, I told them I had a booking, the rude lady again said no tables, I then ask why do they take reservations if I don’t have a table, she then walked off, me thinking she went to get the manager, but she continued to serve food to other customers? There were 2 tables to clear which weren’t cleared for us to sit, but they continued to serve other customers in the restaurant. Me giving them the benefit of the doubt cause it was NYE, waited for them to finish what they’re doing, and clear my table. Again, was ignored and wasn’t served until 7:50, almost 1 hour after my “booking”. Food was ok, food came out extremely slow, the skewers that come with the all you can eat come out every half hour... shouldn’t be charging people for hot pot and skewers if you can’t provide. Cube use to be good, but I most likely won’t be back after this experience. Extremely disappointed in service and...

Service = non-existent

We arrived 30min after the restaurant opened but there was one staff at the front, still setting up the food collection area (for the hotpot and bbq). We were asked to sit wherever.

We waited 15min at the table, no menus, no communication, no instructions. We asked the lady how we’re supposed to order the hotpot soup, then she told us to scan the QR code on ANOTHER table - there was one QR code amongst I’m not sure how many tables, possibly 5-6.

They also have grilled food and skewers which comes out from the kitchen.. and it’s very limited, so much so diners nudge each other out of the way to get to the food, much like an episode of survivor. You also get people that take ALL 10 skewers to a table of 2 and leave everyone else with none.. and the kitchen staff didn’t say anything about it or share it around to other diners.

I must however give credit to the lady working there to bring soup and give out drinks to people - she was run off her feet but always had a smile on her face - her attitude...

The Cube Hot Pot,is a Chinese Marvel and Adorable Cusine ,especially for Non-vegetarian . It was new concept for us.

It was a Fun filling way in the Winter Spring Evening ,where with Family and Friends sitting around a HOT POT at the table Cook and Eat

Hot Pot is place of Hot spot where You have to select and collect Varieties of Sauces, Sea raw foods, Noodles,Tofu and Fruits, and spinach arranged in the Freezer stall It is your choice preparing the favorite recipe to taste and can be use it as Spicy Hot Pot,Veggie Hot Pot,Curry Hot Pot with cup of rice, Chilli Soup,plain soup with Squids,Shrimps,Prawns,Lamb Slice Beef slice ,Fish fillers Fish Tofu Crab stick,Mushrooms,Pork Slice ,Dumpling ,Oysters and enjoying unmatured soya bean,the Edimame. There is no OIL used in it unless order for Fried items. It is a new way of enjoying the Cook and Eat with Boiling Soup at Hot Pot with Fun and DINE to Delight the Day with Jolly and Joy.
