Prestige Meats — Local services in Brisbane City

I was at Fairfield Gardens today purely to get meat from Prestige Meats which I often have. They were NOT wearing face masks. The security person at the centre had to ask them to put their masks on. Yes, after this they did but only then did they put them on but pulled them under their noses and again at another stage stopped wearing them at all. Seriously?? We are in the middle of a pandemic which they are OBVIOUSLY not taking seriously AND handling meat! What a total disregard for customers. I will be telling other customers of this as well as informing the appropriate authorities. Who is the owner of this place and are they aware their staff are breaching health authority...

Being an age pensioner, meat is a special treat, so I usually appreciate the quality at this butchery when I can afford it. However, in the last fortnight I have twice been disappointed. The first time, the manager cut so much fat into my purchase that I had to discard half the weight. So I got half of what I paid for. When I returned the following week, I specially asked the staff member if she could slice dried jerky without too much fat on it. Once home, I found she had buried pieces of plain fat at the bottom of the bag. Other older customers should be aware: there is bullying behaviour...

This butcher is by far one of the best I've been to! Compared to other butchers, the staff are so friendly and always up for a chat! They have always looked after us. This used to be our local when we lived in Rocklea and since getting flooded we now live in Coorparoo, we have always come back as they never disappoint!
