Came a few months ago to try it thanks to a 25% discount via Eatclub. Restaurant was deathly quiet on a Sunday lunch time with nothing much happening on the conveyor belt. Just as well we ordered from the a la carte menu: Aburi salmon salad $18.90 Aburi salmon rice bowl $18.90 Lobster salad & prawn roll $5.90 Teriyaki chicken mini roll $3.90 Pork gyoza (steamed) $5.30 Tamago nigiri $3.90 The food was decent taste wise though not as attractive value wise - I thought pricing was on the high side for a place in the middle of suburbia. That's where having Eatclub tipped the equation to give it a try. Overall everything about this place felt like it was just ok, so we had our feed and moved on without experiencing any compelling reasons to revisit anytime soon.

Walked in the smashed door seen the staff lazing around and were surprised someone was here to order then they had to find the guy that could take my order, guy comes out and were really nice but could barely take my order which was 4x 8 packs for as they sell one roll chopped up as a 4 pack then after waiting for my order for a while he brings out 2x 8 packs (really just 4 rolls chopped up) and they are scarce with both the ingredients and the soy sauce haha won't be back here, not worth the $20 for 4 chopped up rolls I'll go buy that same amount for $12 anywhere else and get more in it added 4 pieces together to show how it should be sold for 3-4 dollars each, bit of a rant but wasn't really impressed

Okay-tasting food for its price. A little upset that they use microwave to heat up the cooked food. It's poor form. We ordered the aburi salmon, signature aburi sushi, salmon sushi (was disappointing.....), Wagyu Beef sushi (surprisingly decent), spicy tuna was slipshot to say the lease. (Normal tuna with chilli powder is not spicy tuna...) I was really looking forward to having a good dinner after reading all the reviews.

My partner and I ordered the Chicken Katsu with Rice as well as the Chicken Karaage with Rice, both tasted great with decent-sized portions for the price. The sushi train selection was indeed quite lacking, fish-type sushi were absent as well, which may be a good or a bad thing, probably because they'd rather serve it fresh?

With that said, we were quite disappointed by our Mix Sashimi as they just weren't fresh enough. However, we thought the price of the Mix Sashimi was fair for the quality if food we got. The decor/ambience was okay but could be better.

Overall, we recommend the Rice Dish for a quick dinner/lunch but not the sashimi...
