The entire B2 floor has been designated for "staff/tenant/tower parking". The best thing about Toowong Village was the ease of parking, which was a significant competitive advantage against Indooroopilly. B1 is impossible to find a park and navigating the tights turns of upward level ramps makes me not want to park upstairs, as well as long walks to the shopping centres via pedestrian ramps when you are time poor. I feel the management have taken a large commercial lease, not considering the retail lease holders, to their detriment.
Can't Coles and A&G staff park on the upper floors that are less suited to those customers with purchases? We are the customers that will be pushing trolleys full of heavy goods up to these floors when we have the perfect scenario of taking a travelator down to B2. It really begs belief why you have taken a perfectly convenient customer carpark and turned it into a staff carpark.
Due to the inconvenience you are causing, I have no option but to go elsewhere to shop.
It is a small wonder you have so many empty retail shops in your Village, when you're not encouraging retail. The management of Toowong Village leasing really needs reassessment as soon as possible. I'm at a loss to know why someone or a group would make life more difficult for retailers, when we are all trying to support one another during the...
Read moreI recently visited Toowong Village, primarily attracted by their impressively stocked Kmart. The convenience of getting there was unparalleled, as I could easily catch a train directly from the city.
The first thing that caught my eye about the shopping center was its grand, open layout. The multi-level structure is thoughtfully designed with travelators connecting each floor, simplifying navigation significantly.
What's truly unique about the center is its circular layout. This design gives you a panoramic view of all the shops on each floor. As you ascend through the building using the central escalators, you can enjoy a clear view of every store, making it a breeze to locate your favorites or discover new ones.
Another significant advantage is the strategic location of a train station right next to the entrance, along with well-known stores like Wilbur's BWS. This makes Toowong Village an ideal destination for a comprehensive shopping trip.
In conclusion, my trip to Toowong Village was a thoroughly enjoyable one. The well-stocked Kmart, the easy access, and the spacious, intuitive design make it a splendid place for a shopping spree. I can't recommend it enough for a satisfying and convenient...
Read moreApart from the library, there is not much to attract you to this place. If you wanna shop, you are much better off going to indooroopilly shopping centre. If you wanna buy groceries you are better off going to Coles in petrie terrace which is significantly less crowded. The lifts are painfully slow and the escalators make you walk across the central area if you wanna go to multiple levels. On the positive side, Its got some good food options around it, the library is awesome, it has a couple of good cafes and multiple car parks. The underground level is the best place to find a quick parking. The bws on the ground level has a good variety of booze but again you'd rather go to Liquor land near Regatta. There is a variety shop on the top floor which have some interesting things... from sticky tapes to wine goblets and a few unique decorative items. The only time I go here is if I need to visit the library or if I need some specific things from Kmart. On the weekends it's extremely busy. Probably good only for locals doing their weekly shopping but cant see why anyone else with better options wanna visit this centre. Try chatterbox Cafe for...
