Service with a smile is always a great way to start my day. Handy location right outside Coles, great coffee and really friendly & helpful staff. I do suggest you park on the top level, which always has more available parking, and take the escalator down a few levels to Merlo Coffee. love the seating arrangements, an intimate community vibe without feeling crammed in. You can order takeaway express coffees too. Definitely a place I will head back to whenever I hit the Toowong Mall.

Nice place, my usual morning coffee place since my workplace has shifted to Toowong Dine in area is a bit odd though as it is more of in the middle of the mall but it has git its own feel Staff is ok nothing extraordinary neither bad as compared to cafes in the city where you get lots of greeting smiles this is more of a place your order and get your coffee Menu is good, accepts friends of merlo card Parking is easy too as it’s inside the Toowong village

Asked for 2 Large Flat Whites, got the coffees but the the milk as you can see in the picture was burnt! It was nowhere near 60 or 65 degrees. My girlfriend dropped hers it was that hot. Merlo I know people may like it extra hot but we did not. You should only make it extra hot if it's requested! It may have been the best store in 2020, but this is 2022 get your game together!

I've been coming to Toowong for almost 2 years now, as I get my train to work from there and recently I've noticed how different the store culture is. There is a much more positive, uplifting culture and it's great to see as for a small space i can imagine how stressful it could be for them. I visited my favourite coffee fix cafe last week and was so happy with the service I received. I was served by the new manager Catie. She was so friendly and showed genuine interest in serving me which really kicked my day off to a good start :)

I know they've had a few manager changes recently but Catie really seems to have it down pact. The staff are always laughing and she seems to really connect well with them and gives out good energy and the service has been such a flip around! I hope to see her around for a long time. Toowong Merlo coffee is generally good and their service reasonably well. However today morning I experienced low quality service from them. I ordered an extra hot cappuccino and expected to receive it as soon possible as it wasn’t busy that much. After waiting for an unusual amount of time I checked the counter and see my coffee is left there waiting for pickup as if nobody cared. So I went and asked them shouldn’t you bring it for me and one of the staff told me if you would like I can bring it for you! If I would like??? What does it mean when I sat at the table waiting for it of course I expect you to bring it for me. Then I took the cup (without saucer) and went back to to my table. I was very disappointed today especially by the service and coffee.I have been coming to this coffee shop for last 3 weeks as everytime I have to wait a long time even though I ask for take away.I dont mind as coffee is nice and strong.But today I had my order taken then some customers that were served after me.They got there coffee first as they were dining in.I feel they dont prioritize take away customers.I had to wait 15 mins before I got my order.The blonde girl who made the coffee is so busy talking to staff and not focusing on customer service.The coffee was the worst I've had!I ordered Forza bean extra shot medium and there is no extra shot in it.So after paying over $5.00 for coffee which was undrinkable.I will be going to Zarrafas...
