I don’t even know where to begin with my appreciation for Mylee! I was losing my mind from lack of sleep with a new baby. We hit the 4 month sleep regression, and we never got back on track after that. My 6 month old was taking 10 minute catnaps and waking up every 2 hours in the night. I didn’t know what to do - I was really against any sort of cry it out sleep method, but I knew I needed guidance in the process of sleep training to improve life for both my baby and myself. We had our consultation with Mylee, and she educated me on the various types of sleep training methods to find one that I would feel comfortable with. She put together an incredibly detailed sleep plan, customized to my child, and provided us with recommendations on getting his room adequately set up (we were simultaneously crib training). Throughout the process, Mylee was available every single step of the way to answer my questions, or provide input during the early stages when my baby was protesting his new schedule. She is super responsive to texts, emails, and calls, and would check in on me throughout the day to see how things were going. We collaboratively agreed upon a bed and nap time routine that worked for our family to help with sleep cues. She also provided us an ongoing “cheat sheet” after we finished our sleep coaching to help with age related adjustments and daylight savings tips for the future. My baby was sleeping through the night on night 2, and now naps for about an hour and a half each nap. It is an absolute miracle!! Thanks to Mylee, I have what seems like a brand new baby who is well rested and happy, and I have some normalcy back in my life. Read moreMylee is a lifesaver! I contacted her when my daughter Oona was 10 months. She was having 2 naps (30-40 min and 1 hr long) I was putting her to sleep at night either breastfeeding or a bottle, and I had to be lying next to her. On top of it, she was still waking up 2-4 times a night, screaming at the top of her lungs and drinking a bottle each time she woke up (the only thing that would calm her). My husband and I were exhausted and overwhelmed. I felt great after my skype with Mylee. Everything made sense and she was very open to what we wanted and the method we were comfortable using. We decided to delay training by a week because Oona was teething. During that week however, Mylee asked me to modify her naps slightly. Instead of putting her down at 8 and 1-1.30 to try 8.30 and 12.45. This change alone was miraculous. Suddenly we had a baby that barely napped to a baby napping 1.5 to 2 hours per nap! This also helped because by the time we started the training her naps were already better. We starts on a Friday and by Tuesday of the following week Oona was sleeping through the night. We achieved this with minimal crying, comforting her every step of the way. It has now been a month since my original consultation with Mylee and Oona is napping 1.5-2hours per nap (she has to be woken up most days) and sleeping through the night from 6.30-5.30 or 6 every day. I would highly recommend Mylee to anyone that has any issue with their babies sleep! My only regret is not contacting her sooner, I thought it was normal and that Oona was hungry but she is eating way better during the day now and is a happier more rested kid! And we are happier and rested parents as a result!...
Read moreWe had gotten into some really bad sleep habits before I contacted Mylee. My two year old daughter was waking up all night long, throwing tantrums, and it took me hours to get her to go back to sleep in middle of the night. Eventually I would give up and she would sleep in our bed. I was getting no sleep! My 4 year old son was waking in middle of the night too because he would wet the bed or he would hear his sister up and want to snuggle mama too. I was completely exhausted and thought I would never get a full nights sleep again.
After a thorough conversation about our family's sleep habits, Mylee helped us find a plan, appropriate to bed time schedules, and more. When we executed it Mylee was available by text to help answer all our questions. After less than a week of Mylee’s coaching and gentle guidance our kids now go to sleep on their own, in their own beds, every night. Mylee is smart, kind, and fun. She offers expert advice with age appropriate solutions. It's like working with a kid whisper family doula that is part Janet Lansbury and part your cool mama friend who "gets it" and knows what to do next. We had such a good experience with Mylee that I am already planning to work with her again on some other behavior issues.
I thought it was an impossible situation, having tried all the advice I could find online and reading several parenting books about sleep. But with Mylee’s guidance we are now able to put both of our children to bed and walk out of the room. They sleep all night and If they wake they go right back to sleep with very little intervention.
