Tsing Wah Asian Grocers — Local services in Launceston

Love this place and visit to bulk buy anytime I am in Launceston. I visited there yesterday and the little skinny Asian girl serving at the front counter was the rudest most unhelpful person I have met at Tsing Wah. She would not help me find what I needed and instead rudely pointed in the general direction of what I was looking for. The front counter/checkout was not busy and she left her post a number of times to attend to other things, but not help me to politely find my supplies.

Very rude and not happy with...

The only word to describe Tsing Wah is "expensive". Most of the products they sell can be found in other Asian grocery or woolie or coles, but they mark the price 100% higher than the others. The variety of products is not enough. Although they have seafood, it just doesn't look too fresh to me.

They serve bubble tea at the front of the shop. Again, $8 a bubble tea is just bloody expensive

One last thing, they have quite a number of overdue products (or nearly) on the selves, which...

Excellent Asian emporium in the city stocking a huge range of local and imported Asian food products. Helpful friendly Staff and good prices make this a regular destination for finding otherwise hard to get products for home cooking.

There is free off street parking provided for customers, which is helpful as finding a street parking can be difficult at times. Additionally, if like us you buy up big, it's nice to be able to safely transport a short distance to your vehicle...
