If only there was an option for no stars Comparison between Charcoal chicken Launceston to Charcoal chicken Prospect ... there is no Comparison ... when anyone goes to Launceston I always ask for either Charcoal chicken or KFC ... so yesterday I was unfortunately given my salad/chicken pack from the Launceston one ... immediately on opening it I could see it wasn't from Prospect ... there was a container that looked absolutely disgusting ... the salads were a grey horrible sludgy mess ... how does someone get curried egg to look grey ... they did ... the other 3 salads I can't even explain other than there were 3 pasta salads that were again a grey mess ... the chicken was so dry you couldn't even pull it apart ... Russell always shares my chicken but apart from the rubbery skin he missed out and believe me the look I got when I stood up to put in the bin was not a happy one 🤬 ... and to add to the kick in the guts it was much more expensive than Prospect ... the moral of the story is that if you are craving Charcoal chicken never get it from the city ... go hungry cause you...

We won't be back in any hurry. The staff were rude. The girls at the front couldn't remember what u had ordered by the time u went to pay like 1 minute after. Our food was awful the gravy doesn't taste the same.. my chicken was extremely tough in my burger I had a few chips and couldn't eat the rest as there was just to much salt and I usually LOVE salt... my children were even sad as they said this isn't charcoal chicken ma.... yuk we will trial prospect and if no success I'd rather cook it my way at home. So sad to see this buisness go downhill after all there...

The chicken itself was bland, lacking any hint of charcoal or seasoning – it honestly tasted like plain boiled chicken. To make it worse, there were no dips or sauces included.
