At around 16:43 p.m. on September 3, my friend and I came to the Collins street Gucci store to buy something for us. It was an employee named Tiffany who offered us a service, but she had a terrible attitude! Weve never been treated like this in any place!
We came to buy sunglasses, and we asked two questions in passing. One was whether we could make up a receipt for the belt you bought last time, and the other was whether we could change the size of the shoes we had just bought, Our shoes are not without small tickets or lost small tickets, but only at home, and offer to bring them the next day, shoes only bought for a few days have not been unpacked, brand new packaging. But both of the questions were rebuffed by her, and we thought if none of them worked, wed go on with our sunglasses instead of the receipt, since its our problem to pick them. Because we originally want to buy sunglasses, but her attitude is particularly disdainful and impatient, we first asked whether there are some sunglasses, she direct apathetic expression: No! Then when we asked if there were any other styles, she became more impatient and said loudly: I told you, Nothing else! And I rolled my eyes! All the while, she spoke in a very harsh and hard manner, And she also rolled her eyes many times, the speech content has the impolite word, even takes out the mobile phone directly when our face has been playing, ignores us, the attitude is extremely bad, cannot bear!!!
Later, because we saw her attitude is too fierce, and offered to ask other employees for help, with the help of the second employee, we bought the sunglasses that we wanted, the second employee and her way of doing things are totally different! If Tiffany doesnt have any explanation, just give me a negative answer. The other one has been asking and trying to solve the problem, and shes been obstructing it! We provided the bank certificate, name, phone number, ID, due to the last shoe purchased in a hurry, Im not sure. When we were about to try the shoe size again, the second employee was called away for a long time, leaving us to wait outside. After that employee came out, became even if provided all the information, the purchase record can check, the size is also available, no small ticket can not be replaced!
We have bank transaction, ID, and can provide name phone number in case of still being refused size change, we do not know your policy, Just want to ask to be able to change, but if can provide buy the bank certificate, the identification certificate, cannot simply change the size, then what is the use of the guest information collected when the guest buys the thing? One of the worlds top luxury stores, purchase records cant check it? Even if it is a rule that we have a small ticket, we do have a small one, Tiffany can also remind me to bring a small ticket next time instead of rolling my eyes at us and ignoring guests on my cell phone while Im at work, is that what your company requires employees to do? Finally the second employee helped me to try the original shoes, to make sure that the size is appropriate, I do not need to refund the shoes. But the point is, no matter whether I exchange or not, I should not be treated so badly! I even felt that I had been discriminated against from the very beginning by Tiffany because I had brought my shoes with me! Or is it because I am a Chinese student who is not fluent in English that I am not worthy of being treated politely? And doesnt deserve a clear explanation or explanation?
Ive shopped a few times at Gucci, and Ive always had a good impression of Guccis service. Tiffany disappoints me about the brand, and Gucci hires such low-quality employees in the store! Equality, courtesy and attention to one customer is the most basic service industry right? And Gucci is such a big brand that people love! The other Gucci employees Ive met are very patient and friendly. I hope Tiffany is just one example! I hope that Gucci will deal with this matter properly and let her give us a...
Read moreUnfortunately my family was subjected to horrible customer service experience at Collins St Gucci. The assistant manager very begrudgingly served our family (a member of our family WORKS at Gucci, visiting from Japan).
Not only was she insensitive and disrespectful after we waited in queue for one on one quality customer service, she pressured us multiple times to “make it quick” and have a list of items ready, and get in and out of the store immediately because they have to serve other customers. I cannot believe that a luxury designer brand has the audacity to treat their customers at such odds with the way in which Gucci portrays their brand values.
Simply because we are friends and family of Gucci, does that entitle treatment without common decency? Honestly, it is tactless to treat an employee (and their family) who works in the same company as [her] in such a way. I felt very sorry for our family member, who felt guilty for how our family member felt because of how this assistant manager treated us.
After some discussion, she agreed we’d only be allowed to buy certain pieces that have sufficient stock levels of because I quote her, “Gucci is cheaper in Australia that’s why”.. We were soon ready to tie up our purchase after her adamancy of being faster she refused to put through any transactions for us in the end because she suddenly remembered staff can only purchase in the morning alongside 3-4 other rules she decided only to inform us of at the very end when we’re ready to get out of her hair… Also cautioning us next time we do come back we better just have a list and be in and out quickly… Ummm what?
It was disheartening considering we were all very understanding despite the way she treated us… All in all, rather than being vexed about the experience we are a lot happier to be taking our business to the Gucci in Chadstone. Where hopefully, we will be treating like...
Read moreI would like to complain a sale (ANN OOI) in Mel.
We had a very terrible shopping experience at Gucci today.
She kept playing with her phone while servicing us.
When we said we wanted to see rings and bracelets, she told us it was at the middle counter, so we walked over to see it ourselves. But there was no bracelet in the middle counter, so I asked where the bracelet was, and she said it was behind. At this time, she didn't lead the way, but we were looking for it ourselves. After look the bracelet, I said I wanted to see the ring, she said it was at another counter, and she said "come here" in a commanding tone. At this time, I saw the ring in the drawer, and we kept bending over and looking at it. I felt very very uncomfortable, so I asked her could you please put the ring box on the table for us to see, and she took it out reluctantly. I also bought two pairs of rings at this store last week. The sale took the initiative to take out the box containing the rings and let us try them on casual. Every time I buy jewelry at Gucci, the sale will take it out for us to try on. We were very angry after leaving the store, so we went back to the store to complain. We wanted to talk to the manager and she said she was. We told her we were going to complain against her because her actions and words just made us feel disrespected, even contemptuous. But she didn't apologize but said that you can complain to me. Our service purpose is to make customers feel free, so I would like to ask is that Gucci's free service is not service? Or can she despise guests just because she is a manager? I don't understand how she became a manager???
All in all, tone of command, poor service experience, disrespectful treatment. It was all filmed by CCTV: she was playing with her phone, and we were bending over to look at the ring in the drawer. We want her apology and know how...
