I would like to show my appreciation to the Lisa F. and Siva who are the instructors of the 3 hr. Barista basic course and the 2 hr. coffee art + safety & hygiene session. Honestly I did not have high expectations of the course as I thought these hands-on workshops will be really ordinary. I was wrong! Lisa's delivery of the content was well paced, clear and concise. She is amicable with a cheerful and positive demeanor. The instructions were clear and the important points were reiterated appropriately. I learnt so much during the session and felt confident in administering the skill (e.g. milk texturing) I have acquired during the course in a business environment competently. The practical exercises involving making one type of coffee and turning into another type is very useful. As for the afternoon session, Siva was great! He is humorous and with impressive demonstration skills. All in all, I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested to learn about Barista basics. Thanks again to Lisa and Siva. Much appreciated....

Signed up to the Nationally recognised barista course (5 hours). You have to do an online learning module, which took me more than a hour to go through, definitely a serious course. On the day, I’d say it’s a very practical and fast-paced, compact kind of beginner coffee course. Best for vocational training. I did it on my holiday just for leisure and would appreciate if there’s more theory in this course. Instructor basically just told you what to do, how to do, but not why we do certain things. I feel it would be better if there are less students in the class (1 instructor to 12 students plus 2 other facilitators). It’s real fun though - we get to make 20-30 espresso-based coffees in the morning, and made at 12 cups with coffee art in...

You will experience great tuition at CBD College, whether you’re a keen at home barista or looking to get work in a cafe. The staff are really friendly and helpful, as well as being experienced skilled Baristas themselves. I attended a Sunday session with my youngest son, I was looking to improve my home Barista skills, and my son was looking to improve his employment opportunities.😊😊 We completed both the Barista skills and the latte art classes, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in improving their Barista skills. Due to some great tuition the attached photo is of my first ever attempt at some latte art… hopefully I will improve...

I decided to learn a new skill during our term break, and I didn't expect making espresso and creating coffee art to be this much fun. Chi-Chi, an expert in the field, guided us through the basics and all we needed to know about coffee art,l. Whether you have prior experience in coffee-making or not, you'll be able to produce impressive coffee after taking this class. Chi-Chi and Josephine's instruction was comprehensive and accessible, making sure everyone, regardless of their skill level, could follow along and improve.
