Honest Paper — Local services in Newcastle-Maitland

I received my first order from Honest Paper today. It was a refreshing experience to open my parcel and see a hand written note, addressed to me, and thanking me for my patronage.

My item was beautifully wrapped and it was packaged such that there was no damage from being in transit. I did not ask for gift wrapping and the wrapping I received was immaculate - I can only imagine how good actual gift wrapping looks.

This is an Australian small business that sets an excellent example of how to add the human touch to shopping online where there is little-to-no human-to-human interaction.

I cannot recommend Honest Paper enough. Support great Australian small businesses...

I ordered a print from here for my wife for mother's day and it was such an easy process! Great website, easy to use and delivery to south Sydney was faster than expected. Unfortunately they were unable to gift wrap the item I selected due to framing however one of the owners contacted me directly shortly after I placed my order to offer alternative options and we were able to come to an agreement and sort it out.

In the end, they were a pleasure to deal with and the framing job looks amazing, but the most important thing - My wife loved it!

10/10 - I'd definitely order from here again...

I follow HP on tiktok and was SO excited to go into the store last Friday in person. And they had a lot of beautiful things and we're really happy with our purchases - it feels like they have more in-store than online.

Sadly, the store itself is really disappointing - dead silent and super uncomfortable to be in. The lady at the counter did not acknowledge us or say anything until she gave us the final price of our order, but she did stare at us the entire time like we were interrupting. It wasn't a fun shop to visit, and I'd recommend...
