Last time I was in town, I had pizza from here and it was amazing, so I was excited to try their mixed HSP pack—but unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. My partner ordered the same and had the exact same experience. We both got the mixed HSP with cheese, garlic sauce, and BBQ sauce. The portion size was generous, which is the only positive thing I can say. The mixed meat was incredibly dry and lacked flavour—it tasted like it had been sitting there all day. The chips were underwhelming too: not seasoned and barely any included in the pack. Even with the garlic and BBQ sauce, there was no saving the taste. To make things worse, it was extremely oily—the box was literally leaking oil. I’ve had quite a few HSPs over the years, and this was easily one of the worst. Sadly, the experience has put me off coming back. It was so bad I couldn’t even eat it, and we ended up throwing away $36 worth of food.

I'll preface by saying I almost never have snack packs and that I've been to this place many times before at 2am where I've always enjoyed their kebabs.

Tonight though was disappointing on multiple fronts;

We ordered 2 snack packs and I got a bottle of soft drink. The snack packs are $16 each and the drink was $5. However there's a combo deal where you can get a snack pack + a can of drink for $18. So we actually would have been better off getting 2 combo deals and saving $1, but it was never offered. Perhaps not a big deal and maybe I should've spoken up. The drink I did receive though, was flat. I then looked for the expiry and noted it expires in 3 weeks time.. The mixed meat snack pack it self was ok, AT BEST. The chips were the best part. We asked for cheese but I barely noticed any cheese. I can't say I enjoyed this at all.

So after trusting the google reviews as this being one of the best places for snack packs, I was very disappointed. I can't say I'll be back there again, unless...

I recently tried Best Burgers Kebab and All, and I have to say—it definitely lives up to its name! The food was fresh, flavorful, and great value for money.
