Perth Convenience Store — Local services in Perth

Pity I can't give a ZERO star rating! This isn't a convenience store. It's an INCONVENIENCE store!

I went here to buy some food when staying at a nearby hotel and walked in searing heat 400m there and back to get some food.

I had a Mrs Macs Sausage Roll in mind but there were only 2 pies in the Mrs Macs display oven. To my disgust all the fresh cold food was OUT OF DATE. Pre-made sandwiches etc. So I settled for a pie.

The guy slaps the pie down on the counter in a couldn't be bothered manner. I pick it up thinking it'll be too hot to hold on the walk back so I'll buy a bag. I pick up the pie and to my further disgust and dismay the PIE WAS COLD. Ok so not fridge cold but it was on the cool side of luke warm. Holding back the urge to throw it in his face, upon complaining he ventured a feeble excuse saying or was regulation (sic) 60°C. My big toe is warmer than that. At best it was less than 36°C (body temp).

The nerve! Not only are they an inconvenience store there are getting away with food safety negligence and I'll be reporting them to the Health Inspectors.

Don't go here, they deserve to be named and shamed those...

Went there to buy a bottle of water as the hotel I'm staying at charges $5 for a 600ml. Get to the checkout and the guy is on his phone while talking to me. He takes my card, doesn't ask which account I'm using and selects savings. It declined so I used a different card. This time he asked me what account and I said credit. He selected credit and then clicked okay to say that my signature was clear and didn't even check my card. When I questioned him about it he said he only checks signatures for over $50.

Only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the prices were reasonable for a convenience store and it is located right across the road...

On 5th Jan 2016 4.30pm. I purchased a coconut drink and had a sip but it was sour. I drink these all the time and i do know it taste different depending on batch. However this is totally sour and it smells bad. I showed it to the staff and ask him to sniff. And he told me nothing he can do about it since its not expired. I was surprised with his comment and his attitude as he didnt even bother to help or let me exchange. I left the sour taste coconut water in front of the counter and left the store. I bet if you have food poisoning here they will say exactly the same thing. I won't be comming back this...
