Edge 17 - Port Fairy Wharf Accommodation — Local services in Port Fairy

We booked online. When we arrived at the advertised address there was no one there. We came back later and it turned out the advertised address is just one of the apartments. Luckily, people were in this apartment and suggested we try looking at another location a short drive away. We rang the number on the website but no one answered or responded to our message. We finally found the apartment we had booked and the owner was in the process of renting it to someone else even though we arrived earlier than we said we would. The owner's home had a door into our apartment and a Google Home Mini plugged installed in our apartment (i.e listening device - there was no other potential purpose) which was weird as there was nothing in the apartment for it to connect to. When we left in the morning, we tried calling on the phone but again - no answer, so we left the keys on a table and message on voicemail and went. Again, no one responded to...

Our Easter 2021 stay at Edge 17 Port Fairy was one of the best holidays I’ve ever enjoyed. I’m thoroughly rested snd relaxed! The house is wonderful -beautiful bedding, decor, and a fabulous large kitchen with everything you could want. The highlight for me was the exquisite courtyard garden. We spent many pleasant hours listening to the water feature and enjoying the lovely flowers. The location is perfect- close to everything (the Moyne River wharf, Griffith’s island (don’t miss it!), merrijig inn (garden fir drinks, book in advance for dinner),. Hosts Berni and Brett are simply wonderful. They spoiled us rotten! We extended our stay 2 nights to be met with a thank you hamper of wine and yummy treats! Our fog even got a birthday toy and hat! Genuine and lovely people. Port Fairy has so much to do snd see - we will be back to stay soon! Thanks...

Fantastic cottage, well-appointed and very easy and comfortable for a 2-night stay. Great area to walk around down near the wharf and easy walk into town. Beautiful garden to sit in out the back and lovely sun lounge area at the front. Perfect for a 2 couples with each room having an ensuite. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stay in Port Fairy. Our host's Brett and Berni have thought of everything for a little home away from home, were lovely to deal with, provided loads of local info and the extra goodies and staples made it easy to make a few meals and really enjoy our time in the cottage. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next stay....
