YUM YUM YUM!! We chose this place after wandering around for a while, looking for a nice place for lunch and then spotted what looked like impressive homemade sausage rolls & other goodies in the display case. We were greeted by a lovely friendly lady (always nice for someone to be happy to see you!). We were surprised by the menu (in a good way). Lasagne, chips & salad; steak sanga's with caramelised onions; a risotto cake (crumbed and looking spectacular in the case & I almost chose that) & those huge homemade sausage rolls. They had veg options too. Hubby chose the steak sanga & I decided in the beef burger. We also ordered coffees. It was so nice to hear the staff members chatting & enjoying their day. No 'sad sacks' in this cafe! Both lunches were amazing. Just delicious fresh, yummy food. The coffee beans were freshly ground & aromatic which made a beautiful brew. Then we chose the 'treat box' for $11 which we shared. 2 mini pieces of hedgehog, 2 yo-yo's & 2 choc-spiders. Yummy yet again. We were so full! Seriously great food, reasonable prices, wonderful staff & relaxed...

Our visit was quick but well worth it. We walked in as they were preparing to close yet they were very welcoming and took our order which meant turning equipment back on. The lady serving, Sarah (who later said she was the owner) was warm and vivacious , equally impressive was the banter between the staff. Sarah spoke to them and of them well and they all obviously enjoy what they do which creates the friendly atmosphere I’m usually really fussy with my coffee order , double shot extra hot not too much milk , but didn’t want to push my luck so was willing to just take what came , turned out the best coffee I’ve had without any instructions šŸ˜ There are a number of reasons I’d go back to the Mill but the friendly service and coffee can’t be beaten IMO . You’ve got to be doing something right to stay in the industry for 6 years and still look like you love it . And the muffin in the pic- Sarah says she’ll run down the Main Street topless if you don’t like it , and she’s right , she’ll never have to because it’s amazing !!!! Do yourself a favor and grab a coffee ( and muffin) if...

I got a coffee and a pasty this morning and the experience was far from being nice. And so expensive for the terrible service. (blond short hair lady SO RUDE) I work in a very busy cafe too and we do our best to give coffees and snacks at the same time, is not ideal having your coffee ready and having to wait for your snack just started to be heated when you have your coffee. I asked for it and I was a bit upset that I had to wait even longer for it. And I heard staff talking about me saying I wasn’t a very nice person. Disrespectful and extremely rude people serving, slow and uncoordinated service. Maybe just good for elderly locals that have plenty of time to wait...

This was my 'go to' breakfast Cafe in Port Fairy as it appeared to be the only one open early enough after a beach walk. Great coffee and always seating available early. Generous sized breakfasts. Porridge was delicious and filling but sadly no poached rhubarb included as on the menu. Young friendly staff and exceptionally clean.

Generous meals. It was busy when e walked past at breakfast time, so we came back for lunch. Seating inside & out. Sarah will look after you. We had the Belfast Burger. It's like a burger with the lot - inc egg and pineapple. The problems was how to eat it. It is a monster!!! Super great coffee too.
