Cape Vlamingh lookout and boardwalk are located at the far end of the island from the ferry but are easily accessed by either a regular bus service, or for the more energetic by bike. Each way enjoy the many beautiful bays and beaches as well as the rock formations at Vlamingh Lookout. Apart from the scenery and the crystal clear water there is also time for the obligatory photos of the quokkas. A full day is the minimum time needed to really appreciate Rottnest Island.

Wonderful place. You can see nice views from up here and take nice shots without disturbance. The location is not easily spotted though as you will have to pass by the cemetery to get up here. Winda are strong and same goes to the sun. And take serious note, do apply sun screen or do whatever necessary protection against the sun when you are in Rottnest as sunburn is the most common thing here. The bottom line is it is a lovely place to stop by.
