Worst council ever! I found a dog in their local area on the highway in Albion Park on the highway. The dog was blind and at risk of getting run over by traffic.

It was a 6:30pm at night, I called every vet in the area and they were all closed, called the police and they told me to contact the council.

The council representative told me to take it to my brothers house in Dapto, and they would get their ranger to pick it up in the morning. Which was three minutes drive from where I found the dog.

My brother called the council in the morning and they said they couldn’t pick it up because it was in the wrong council area.

They would not accept responsibility for the dogs welfare, and they were completely rude and not helpful on the phone.

Crazy to think that they are responsible for animal welfare, and run a dog pound. When they take no responsibility or cannot provide any assistance.

Shame this council has no idea in there own bylaws, refuse to obey them selfs and favour there friends over council rate payers, Compliance officer Make false and misleading allegation with her friends, Oh rate payer be-aware do not take phone advice from council, all ways do it by Email as they change there stories all the time and lie to cover there mistakes, seen it first hand, and like us make sure ever interaction you have with them in audio and video recorded this is what I have done and is set for evidence when required as one of there compliance officer she lies on evidence , which i have proof of her lies when needed, I’m sure she will lose her job after with this, As she has made to many mistakes, They should do their due diligence and not be prejudice...

Absolutely hopeless, selfish organisation. Built themselves a multi-million dollar building instead of sticking with, or even just renovating, their perfectly fine building in Warilla. Renamed the airport sandwiched in between Albion Park, and Albion Park Rail, 'Shellharbour airport'. And just when you thought they couldn't get any snobbier, they invest millions into their new prized marina smack bang in the richest suburb under Shellharbour council, meanwhile they leave their back roads to absolutely rot with potholes and roadkill because they cant sort out a petty little argument with their neighbouring council.
