Oh dear. Saturday night. Read the reviews hence the visit. No one in the restaurant. Took a punt as we'd caught an uber. Incredibly disappointed. Sheek kebab as starter- the nicest thing about the meal. Good serve. Comes out on a sizzling skillet with unnecessary raw carrot/cabbage. Mains-Jeera rice (no jeera to it- cumin) just rice with tumeric colouring. Then chicken Saag and chicken madras- medium. Tasted watery. Completely lacking in flavour and was as mild as it gets. Keema Naan- also the blandest Keema Naan- I've ever tasted. No atmosphere. I said to the server, " you need a little bit of Indian music". They then put in the Indian music far too loud which made us laugh. $115 wouldn't recommend at all. Raised red flags on arrival with the microwaves pinging away. Servers were quiet but smiley and pleasant.

We recently had our daughter’s birthday celebration at home. One of our family friend recommended Durbar restaurant so we contacted them. We spoke with the owner who was very polite, accommodating and willing to go beyond for best customer service and satisfaction. Food was timely delivered to our house, hot and well organized/labelled. Chaffing dishes were also provided which we didnt need to use. Serving spoon were provided as well. All of the food were very tasty, authentic nepalese tase which we and our guest enjoyed. We also got more amount for the number of guest we had. We are glad we ordered food for our little one’s big day celebration from Durbar Restaurant. I highly recommend the restaurant for anyone who likes authentic nepalese/indian taste, affordable food and good customer service.

We recently have moved from Melbourne to perth and this is one of the best restaurant we have tried so far in australia for Indian cuisine. We booked this place for our kid’s Birthday Party.Everything was fabulous. We would highly recommend this place. The owner is an amazing person-very accommodative, courteous and quick in response and on top of it a fantastic chef. The food is amazing and delicious.Must try Mushroom masala,Chicken Saag,Paneer chilli ,Kathmandu kabab , Momo and Naan! Both non vegetarian and vegetarian food were delicious. His staff was very helpful and prompt too.The prices are very affordable. Hospitality is the best.We are now going to be regular customer of theirs . Everyone at the party enjoyed the food and appreciated the service!

I have actually been to this restaurant several times, though I may not have written previous reviews, cannot recall. Anyhow, on this occasion, last night I was dining with 2 other friends, which we arrived around 7.30pm. It was a very unusually quiet night in the restaurant, I think 8 customers dined in total in the place. Another customer was also very much as disappointed as we were, perhaps it was just a bad night for Darbar... we ordered drinks which took almost half an hour to arrive... cans of soft drink and a mango lassi... Mains, naan bread, some sort of cucumber savoury yoghurt and plain rices were ordered...(Mild Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Lamb Korma and Chicken Sizzling Tandoor). Meals took over an hour to arrive, I can never ever recall waiting that long, (on nights when the restaurant has been packed) but on such a quiet night, we really felt it was just too long. We are not fussy eaters and fully enjoyed the naan bread, yoghurt Korma, and even the Butter Chicken, with nice freshly cooked rice, but when my Tikka Masala came out, I took only a mouthful and the insides of my mouth felt like flames had come out of a dragons nostrils, oy! The worst dish unfortunately was the tandoor chicken. It was extremely dry, tasted off, had a very odd flavour which was meant to have both a cashew and cheese flavour, and tasted like sour, off chicken that had a kind of frozen ice taste. We were not charged for both meals as we mentioned to the professional and friendly staff that we were dissatisfied with the dishes, and before I forget, both first rounds of soft drinks that my friends ordered were actually out of date, so they did get replacements of those. We could return in future to see if the restaurant has made improvements, but for now, we might avoid this place and visit other restaurants nearby we know would have delivered better quality food. We know this place can do amazing food so obviously we just went when it was a bad night. In any case, management should definitely consider what dishes just might need to be...

Unfortunately this restaurant was not open when they say they are. Ordered online and received text message from 'eat now' that order cancelled. They do not answer the phone and now I don't have money for lunch as takes 24 hours for refund to come through. Very disappointed as usually enjoy food from here. Would have at least been better if they could have given a reason to eat now service than just to blank their customers. Update: money came back to my account so now I can afford dinner (still had no lunch). Decided to order from here as I know the food is okay. Called to order and the exact same order was quoted at more than the online price. Seems a bit backwards as it's a 3rd party app and I prefer to give my money direct to businesses wherever possible, but I'm not going to pay more to do so. Added an extra curry for my house mate and the overall online price is still less than quoted on the phone. Raised my 1 star to 3 stars purely for the...

We made an order through Uber eats, but few items was missing. My wife rang in restaurant to inform them but the lady took 5 minutes to understand what my wife actually talking about and then she ask us to wait for a second, we was on hold for 15 minutes and she hanged up. We tried to call several time but we didn’t get any response. We had our guests at home for dinner, we had to felt so embarrassed just because of ruthless customer service. We made order in Cooper Chimney and ask their staff if they can make our order in priority time. We always made order from here and it happened few times before but if they missed any items, they used to deal very professionally before and always resolve issues. We will be very make sure from next time that we never made any order from this restaurant. Food is nice but they should work on the customer service, which play vital role to sure your customer will...
