Al Yaseen Halal Butchery — Local services in Sydney

I wish I can give it zero star! So I went to this butcher on Thursday to buy some meat! I ordered three items and I was expecting to pay less than $70, but I got told by the Pakistanin looking Muslim girl with a head scarf that my bill was $86, so I paid, but I felt like something isn’t right, so I requested for my receipt, she gave me the Eftpos receipt, then I told her that I want the actual receipt that listed out the three items that paid for.. Long short! She Deliberately ripped me off by $15 plus.

I told her never to do that again to me or anyone! I complained to one of the guys that was supposed to be the boss! But He gave me the impression of I am disappointed in you facial expression! No apology from him or the girl!

I am 💯 percent sure they do this to many customer that walks into that butcher shop.

I will advise anyone going there to buy meat to always request for their main receipt not just the eftpos because that will not list out all the items you paid for .

I won’t be going there anymore and I will not recommend...

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Al-Yaseen Butchery in Lakemba. Despite waiting in line for over 30 minutes, I noticed a clear lack of fairness in how customers were served. Certain individuals, particularly those from their own community, were prioritized over others, even if they arrived much later. This kind of preferential treatment is completely unacceptable and disrespectful to those patiently waiting their turn.

Additionally, I observed that female customers were served ahead of others, regardless of their position in the queue. While customer service should be about efficiency and fairness, it was frustrating to see blatant disregard for proper queue management.

I expected better professionalism and respect for all customers, but unfortunately, this experience left me deeply disappointed. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and implements a fair and transparent system to ensure equal treatment...
