Most dishonest people I have come across , I have launch a formal complain against them to department. so I went to fridge and got a can of mountain dew. At the end, I went to counter to pay for a can, I ask a guy behind counter, how much does the can cost. He mentioned $2.50, I have asked him. Can I, pay by card, he said yes, without mentioning to me about any surcharge. So, I had taped my card, when I saw the receipt at credit card machine it was $3.50. I asked him why he didn’t tell me, that there is a surcharge on the card, he laugh and pointed me toward a very small note on the back of the visiting card on the left-hand side of the counter, which nobody can see. That writing is attached. I have told him he should have mentioned to me, so I could have paid by cash. I informed him; I am going to launch a formal complaint regarding this. As this is not fair on the customers.

Regularly pay them a visit just to have the fresh bread and chicken skewers. Never had chicken skewers as moist as the ones made fresh here. Their bakery also makes delicious fresh fluffy flatbreads to order in a hot oven. The best part is that they are open late for a night feed and the friendly shopkeeper Amir is there to say hi! Thanks so much for cooking up the delicious meals :) Must tries: - Chicken skewers (I recommend getting it with the Arabic bread, although you can also get this with the chalaw or basmati rice) - Bolani (bread filled with what tastes like curried potato) - Afghani bread (really long stretched bread with slits through it)

Was recommended this place by a friend and decided to eat in. The food here was pretty good as it’s freshly made/cooked. We went during the Eid period so it was a bit of a wait but the service provided was decent. The meat was cooked well and the rice and bread were nice too but actual interior of the place is a little outdated and doesn’t seem as clean as you’d desire but enough to be able to eat from. May consider going back for another dish/bread.

I visited again on 11.08.2025 Things are much improved Bigger , deep and new China crockery available now Washroom was cleaner and had tissue papers as well Thank you management I would like to share my feedback regarding the cooking of paya. While the taste was good as always, I feel the presentation and preparation have changed — perhaps due to a change of chef. Previously, the paya used to be served whole, with the skin intact and the meat holding firmly to the bone. It was cooked to a perfect softness while still keeping its shape on the bone, which gave it both an appealing look and a rich texture.

This time, although the flavor was still enjoyable, the skin was missing and the paya did not have the same complete, well-kept appearance. The meat seemed to have separated too much from the bone, which affected the overall presentation. I would request the chef to pay special attention to maintaining the traditional look and texture — soft yet intact on the bone — as it adds greatly to the...

Chicken curry (perfectly tender chicken drumsticks) and kofte curry were highlights. Both came with relatively in a relatively thin sauce but insanely flavourful. Seem to be known for their breads, the curries come with one free which were great! We were blown away and will be back to try other breads curries and next time some meat skewers.

Lamb Kebab roll had perfectly cooked tender lamb on soft gorgeous bread. Only thing I might warn of is the the curries desensitised our tastebuds from the blast of spice so the kebab roll wasn't as saporific.

A little spicy for some but delicious and very, very affordable, we spent $45 for way too much food. Was enough for dinner + a stack of leftovers.

Don't expect white table cloth, it's a very casual diner but the staff were all very nice. Help yourself to plates/ cutlery and takeaway...
