Dear Florence aims high and sets the type of prestigious atmosphere that Sydney hasn't really seen before in a patisserie, it would not be out of place alongside patisseries from Cyril Lignac, Claire Damon or Cedric Grolet with its aesthetic and white glove service (at least this is the case before their official opening that attentiveness is obviously there, it's yet to be tested for an everyday influx of patrons). The cakes look phenomenonal, in the style of entremet with soft, airy mousse layers and a long list of individual components giving flavour and texture, being beautiful and tasty. The other half of the offerings are tarts which - let's be honest, will be a tough challenge in Sydney where procuring high quality fruit can be difficult and we will see how they manage with that over time. Expect the luxury experience to put itself on the high side in terms of price as well. The stores here officially open October 12 so as of time of review mt photos represent a work in progress from their soft opening, if you happen to be in the area around 11am you too could try it out before their...

Oh my goodness! This was a highlight on our recent trip to Sydney! Going to Dear Florence is an absolute experience in itself! The staff are so beautifully welcoming and the store is so very glorious it is hard to leave. We chose three cakes and immediately took them back to our hotel and shared them amongst the three of us. They were so amazing we then went back and bought another two of the cakes that we hadn't previously bought!!! I couldn't pick a favorite. You wont go wrong whatever you buy! Go early to avoid crowds...mind you I think it won't be long before there is always a crowd! I will not visit Sydney without visiting Dear Florence. Thank you! Oh...and I did buy some little biscuits too as I wanted to be able to take...

boujee desserts!

came here on a birthday adventure with some friends and we had to grab a bit of everything. walking in, the place is decorated in a clean and chic vibe. friendly smiles and conversation to greet us! it felt very calm inside 😌

the desserts were extremely eye catching and colourful. the mousse for all of them was velvety and soft; it melted in your mouth. we felt some of the flavours didn’t balance and was not on our palette but it was great to try. the chocolate was very rich and dark which felt overpowering but a dark choc lover would go crazy on it! 😆 our favourite was definitely the tart; fresh and simple! not too sweet

a good experience with such lovely service. thanks for making my birthday...
