Brew Bros Licenced Eatery — Restaurant in Sydney

Guess we came at a bad time considering this place has good reviews but it was a poor experience for us.

We ordered a sausage and hash brown roll for breakfast and a breakfast wrap, after waiting 20 minutes for it to come out, the one singular sausage in the roll was stone cold. Like it had been pulled from the fridge just a moment before. the breakfast wrap was warm thankfully and my partner did enjoy it. I however couldn’t stomach my cold food and left most of it.

The Server was clearly frazzled and on his own, but it wasn’t extremely busy, maybe 10 other people in having food at the time spread over a handful of tables. Perhaps something else was going on?

During our wait, we looked around, I wasn’t impressed by filthy cardboard box of dirty tea towels sat by kitchen. A lot of the counters were dirty and had crumbs or food stains on and overall it felt very unclean.

We would have complained at the time but we didn’t want to have to wait even longer for food and to be honest we didn’t see our server again till he came with some water well after my partner had finished his meal,

we wanted to say something then but the server didn’t stop and ask if we enjoyed our meal, instead he hurried back off to his counter so we gave up...

I visited in the morning and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The young male staff member got both my drink and meal order wrong. When I pointed this out, he reacted unprofessionally by discarding the food with visible frustration and later approached me to say I was being rude for correcting the mistake, when he actually may have been distracred at the time of taking my order.

Instead of acknowledging the miscommunication - especially since he didn’t confirm the order with me - he initially placed the blame on me. He then offered a refund, but eventually accepted the mistake and brought out the correct drink and food order.

While the issue was ultimately resolved, the interaction could have been handled...

They didn't put avocado in my sandwich like advertised so when I came back and showed them the woman snatched the sandwich and aggressively threw it on the bin refused my refund, screamed in my face and said she would call the police on me so then I had to call the police myself when I had my own things to do. So the police came and then gave the police not even a full refund. Got screamed at for 20 minutes while waiting all over a small mistake most places would do an easy fix for

They also stood around me mocking me to the other customers and argued with each other on if i should be allowed water while having a panic attack from them standing around me mocking me

This is the worst hospitality service I've seen in...
