We attended Horizon of Khufu. I'm giving 3 stars as it was the organisation and lack of communication that really deserves zero stars, however, the VR experience was amazing and deserves 5 stars. Therefore, I give 3 stars overall. Our session was delayed an hour due to an emergency. We weren't bothered in the least and asked if we had somewhere we could rest as we are elderly and had just walked a long distance. The girl said 'no' and to just go and wander around. We came back at 2.30 and found that people who had booked later sessions than us were going in before us. We questioned this and I have to say that it was zero care factor from the staff. Later we found we could've been sitting inside the tent out of the cold and wind. Another lady behind us with young children was concerned she was going to get a parking ticket for being detained. We had to wait 1.5 hrs while other people just walked in at their allotted time. It was chaos as far as we were concerned and mostly due to lack of communication. Booked 3 tix and had a family emergency and completed the contact form to request to move the date forward (why give the go & option if this is your answer). They delayed it by requesting I use an email linked that isn’t on my phone, after all I had a family emergency, and spent 2 days at a hospital not with laptop. Only to receive a response of refer to our terms & conditions all sales are final. I didn’t ask for a refund, I asked to move the day and the site stated it allowed it. My brother was booked for 28 November yo see the Horizon of Khufu (Egyptian be tour), and they cancelled his birthday event on the day due to air cond issues. So they can cancel but you can’t. The Jurassic World Exhibition was so fun ! I had a great time and thought it was so interesting. But maybe if you’re not really into the movies or the whole “Disney World shows experience” then it’s not really for you. The exhibition itself does seem to be quite short so do spend the time to look and interact with everything. Some advice to newcomers: some rooms are opened to let in certain amounts of people for a show and there will be a lot of people in the room so try to stay close to the doors when waiting for them to be opened so you can get better spots to see the dinosaurs (especially Blue). The souvenir shop was so cute I literally wanted to buy everything !! I also got a strawberry milkshake at the cafe but it was straight up just strawberry milk which was a little disappointing since it was quite expensive 😭.
