My recent visit to the Brewery Bar + Kitchen was nothing short of a disappointment. The so-called manager, who appeared more like a bouncer than a host, exhibited an appalling lack of professionalism. Not only did he shout at customers, including myself, for supposedly misreading the menu, but he also snatched the menu from my hand, displaying utter disrespect. Moreover, the establishment's ignorance regarding the sourcing of their food and the absence of information regarding whether it's halal or not is inexcusable. With a significant Muslim population in Sydney, this oversight reflects a complete disregard for dietary preferences and cultural sensitivities. To make matters worse, the open pokie room door not only exposed the VIP area to children at the bar, but it also allowed pedestrians walking past to catch a glimpse of the casino activities. This not only raises serious concerns about the safety and legality of the establishment but also showcases a severe lack of attention to detail and customer welfare. Overall, my experience at the Brewery Bar + Kitchen was marred by incompetence, disrespect, and a blatant disregard for the law and customer well-being. I strongly advise potential patrons to think twice before considering this venue for their dining or entertainment needs.

I was really looking forward to this. Maybe it was the expectations of handcrafted beer and great food. After ordering I was given a buzzer and sent on my way. When the buzzer went off I had no idea where to collect it from. Eventually one of the staff directed me to the totally opposite end of the venue to collect me burger. I sat down outside and nearly fell over, the tables are on wheels with no brakes. The burger looked awesome from the outside, first bite was good but then there was that weird uncooked meaty part further in. Raw in the middle. I've been down this path before and it wasn't pretty. Not at all. I have the rest of the burger back. I wanted no further part of this adventure. So now I'll just count down the hours and start googling "how to stop food poisoning" and hope that this adventure doesn't continue over the coming hours.

Food is catastrophic. On the pizza the ingredients are poor quality, hard to identify and cheese burnt black, which damaged the taste at all. French fries are dripping from oil, definitely not crispy. Fortunately the unprofessional and unemotional team can't do wrong with serving the beer. The best was, that some people are getting beer, in the moment telling us, that they're closing now. When mentioned that 10 seconds before they give beer to other customers, the explanation was, that they were coming every day. When clarifying that we are visitors, so can't come every day and that we feel not treated "correct", the answer was, that they don't mind. If this is not a clear recommendation for a next visit.....better stay away and spend your money somewhere else!

Security at this venue is a joke. Tonight is the second time security have been rude and overzealous in last 8 weeks. I arrived earlier than my mate for a Bulldogs game, which we attend regularly as members. I decided to have dinner at the small Asian restaurant next door to the Brewery. After I finished my food, I decided I'd go into the pub to watch the current NRL game and have a NON-ALCOHOLIC beer as I am currently not drinking, and haven't for 4 weeks. As I approached the entry the security asked for ID, I am nearly 38, but said OK and proceeded to retreive it Digitally from my phone. As I am doing so, he asked how much I've had to drink, I said nothing. He then asked where I'd come from, I said 'the Asian restaurant next door', then looked down towards where I pointed as if he didnt even know it existence. He then asked if I live in Sydney or just here for the game, I told him I'm from Sydney and come here almost weekly as I'm a Bulldogs member. He responded with 'OK, just ID then'. I told him not to worry and walked away to attend the Locker Room pub across the road. About 8 weeks ago, a similar thing happened, with who I think is the same 'bouncer'. This time I'd had a few drinks at the footy/Locker Room with my mate, and he had left as his wife picked him up. I was leaving too as my wife was picking me up but I received a text from her saying there was traffic and she'd ve late. As I'd already left the Locker Room, I decided to go to the Brewery to have a beer while I waited. Basically the same thing happened and I said 'ok mate, I'll just go to the Locker Room again'. Your silly security guard are driving business to your only competitor. There's a reason the Locker Room is bursting at the seams, and your pub...

Recently celebrated my 40th birthday at The Brewery. Right from the onset of organising the event, Ben from the management team provided exceptional support, remaining consistently responsive whether by phone, email, or in person.

One standout aspect was how well the team accommodated diverse dietary requirements. With guests needing vegan and gluten-free options, I was impressed by not only meeting these needs but also delivering excellent food quality that left everyone satisfied.

The drink selection was outstanding, offering a wide variety of beers, alcoholic beverages on tap, and spirits. Particularly noteworthy were the incredible pineapple daiquiris and espresso martinis!

Throughout the entire event, the wait staff, especially Titus and Coring, exceeded expectations. They attended to us with enthusiasm, regularly checking in to ensure everything ran smoothly, all the while maintaining an upbeat demeanour that made us feel incredibly welcome.

The security team added to the warm atmosphere by introducing themselves and extending hospitality throughout the celebration.

The venue's combination of indoor and outdoor spaces makes it perfect for anything from relaxed gatherings with friends to larger celebrations, come rain, hail, or shine.

A massive thank you to everyone at The Brewery for making the...
