Absolutely abysmal experience, Sydneyshowground are meant to provide medical support during conventions and events. I attended Oz Comic Con on the weekend and one of my friends required a wheelchair, during our movement around the convention my friend required first aid due to bleeding in her hands, we asked a volunteer who said "there might be a medical place around the corner" they then took us to an empty room which had one empty table, 5 chairs and a small bed. There were 3 people in here already who said they had been in here for 20-30 minutes, we then asked the volunteer staff who told us that they had also been waiting for the medical team(one of the volunteers had a cut on their leg that needed treating). We are then told that the provided medical staff were wandering around and not accessible via contact. While we were waiting my friend required direct medical aid so I checked the medical cabinet and the draws in the medical space and there were zero medical supplies stocked in the room, so I wasn't able to assist my friend with her bleeding. We then had an amazing volunteer come and take the time to find medical resources and help everyone in this room but it was just him and he didn't have any extra support. This is absolutely horrible that there is no medical staff directly on site or contactable, the fact one VOLUNTEER took it upon themselves to help everyone was incredible but they should not have been put in that position. Please co-ordinate your medical services better especially with OZ Comic Con as the communities that attend this convention require more direct medical aid and assistance services.

Until this issue is sorted I would be hesitant to attend another event hosted by...

Easter Show - Must do! Worth visiting twice. I recommend booking in advance for the evening pass since the best time to come if you want to experience carnival fun. There are no evening tickets available at the gates, only day tickets. You can still see the piglets, goats and other cuties after 4PM until about 6PM. No dog shows though. Showbags close at 9:30PM. Gong Cha bubble tea stalls - bring an urban vibe and the reason why I went to the Easter show. Downer is public transport, takes hours to get to the venue with unprecedented crowds and your shoulders ache from carrying show bags. So I recommend driving. If you turn up to P1 without parking in advance, they still let you in and there's plenty of parking. However, you'll need to pay $35 at the parking station. I picked up a lot of bargains like knock off brand bags, caps, wallets, clothes etc. from the World Bazarre. The perfume stand is a must! $49 for 7 designer perfumes, absolute bargain. The lines for the rides move fairly quickly. Even with long queues took 15 minutes at most to clear. The rides are too pricey though. The food aside from the bubble tea, lemonade, corn, not really healthy. The charcuterie board $45 was worth it though. This can be collected at Tyrell's Wine Bar in the Woolworths Dome. Spent two hours looking for this! Wish they had signs on...

#Throwback2016 Sydney Showground – Unleash The Power Within by Tony Robbins

Back in 2016, I walked on fire. Literally. 🔥 Feet on 1200°F hot coals. Not a metaphor.

Attended Unleash The Power Within (UPW) by Tony Robbins at Sydney Showground, nestled in Sydney Olympic Park – the same grounds that hosted the 2000 Summer Olympics. Turns out this arena isn’t just for world-class athletes, but also for world-class shouting, jumping, and massive internal breakthroughs.

Tony Robbins.. all 6-foot-7 of him doesn’t just speak. He unleashes. A walking powerhouse of human potential, Tony has coached everyone from presidents and pro athletes to your aunty Margaret who wants to start a bakery. His voice sounds like gravel and thunder had a baby, and somehow it makes you believe you can conquer your fears, quit your job, and call your in-laws all in one night.

Firewalk? Oh yes. Day 1 ends with thousands of us marching barefoot across burning embers, screaming “Cool-moss!” like a herd of adrenaline-fueled wildebeest. Surprisingly, no feet were harmed in the making of this psychological reset.

Would I do it again? 100%.

Crowd energy? Like a rock concert, therapy session, and bootcamp rolled into one.

Did it work? Let’s just say I’ve been stepping over mental fires ever since.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (One star for every toe that...
