My parents have been regular customers at your store. Yesterday, my father, who is nearly 70 years old and cannot speak English, went shopping with my mother. While shopping, he simply picked up an apple to show her and stepped momentarily outside the shop. One of your staff members then stopped him, took him into the office, and charged him a $260 “fine,” claiming that he was attempting to steal. This is a completely false and unfair accusation. My parents’ lack of English was taken advantage of, and they were pressured into paying. In reality, my father was not attempting theft. He was showing the apple to my mother. Treating elderly customers in this way is deeply disrespectful and unacceptable. I have already lodged a formal complaint with Castle Hill Police Station regarding to this case .

Our family have been shopping there regularly. While I was nearly finished choosing mangosteen and taking some picture of it to send to our friend as We excited about mangosteen. One chubby guy with curly hair staff came and said "I don't like You taking picture" and my mother in law came to me She then smile and the same guy said "What are you laughing at?" And he looked at us not in a friendly way. I was going to buy something else but this matter make me to end my shopping at Freshworld sooner. I also complained to the lady when checked out about his manner. Management please take notice. This guy has no service minded, look down on people, He should have told his customers in a polite way if there is anything to do with shop's policy. WON'T BE SO KEEN TO GO BACK THERE IF THIS GUY AROUND.

Cashier was flustered as mid transaction she was interrupted by person in front of me who was overcharged via duplicating entry of items and wanted that remedied. The cashier then double charged me for my corn and also charged me a EFT surcharge when I was paying cash. It was very confusing and it took me a couple of goes to politely explain that $20 - $4 = $16 change not $11.95. All was remedied for myself and customer before me but my advice is to check your receipts before leaving store.

Total lack of respect for seniors!

We have been long term customers at Freshworld for at least a decade. It is their long standing policy that seniors are able to have 10% discount upon presentation of their seniors card. Notwithstanding over the years, there have been staff who are unaware of this policy and numerous times when staff "accidentally" forgot to apply the discount, I have decided to share my experience about how little respect they have for seniors.

Today we were buying groceries and the checkout attendant was busy having a chat with her colleague while she was checking out my order. I presented the seniors card before she started and made sure she saw it, to which she acknowledged it. After we finished checkout and left the shop, I double checked the receipt and realised the seniors discount was not applied. I went back to ask for them to apply the discount, as previously this was standard practice when people forgot. However, that same attendant said "there is nothing I can do". I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said that she WAS the supervisor. She pointed to some strawberries lying beside the counter and said "you can take one and go" as if we were some beggars. This attitude is an utter disrespect to seniors such as myself.

Seniors, please do not shop here in the future, they will not treat you with respect - they think you are just after the discount and count on them...

overall a bit expensive than supermarkets, check-out operators are ok, but those who load up fruit and veggie staff very rude to customers, they are staring at you when you are picking the fruit or veggie, they watch customers like a hawk. When I chose radish, load up staff approached me and asked any different between those radish. Of course there is, some are small some are big, some got black spot or cracked. You are greengrocer, you don't know the difference???? I know he wanted me stop picking the radish. You think i'm stupid and wanted me to buy your rotten radish. Your stuff more expensive than other supermarkets, some of your veggie and fruit are rotten and you don't let customers pick. If you are not happy customers choosing and picking your fruit and veggie, maybe you can pre-pack fruit and veggie like Aldi. Don't forget you are not the only place to shop for produce. In this tough market, only customer service , word of mouth will keep...

I am a regular shopper here. Lately, I have found the quality of fruit and veg similar to Coles and Woolies. Their prices are sometimes better to the nearby Coles.

Some staff here are rude. Recently, I bought fruit and was overcharged. I noticed on the receipt after payment and informed the cashier. She asked that I buy something to make up for the overcharge, which I politely declined, since I had already bought what I needed. She insisted a few more times to which I still politely declined. She said it was difficult for her to provide me the change (perhaps she needs more training on how to use the cash register?) She continued to serve the rest of the customers in line, so me and my kids were forced to wait for some time. Not once did she apologise for over charging me or making me wait. She treated me like I was an inconvenience to her (she clearly also needs more training in...
