Terrible, terrible service. Would give it 0 stars if I could. It is apparent from the other reviews that this cafe lacks proper management or training (particularly the owner/manager of the store). We arrived at around 11:45 to get lunch at this cafe, but were not allowed to order lunch despite being given the lunch menu. They told us that we had to wait at least 15 minutes to order lunch because the chefs 'needed time to start preparing the lunch ingredients'. We were left ordering sweet potato fries as we waited until they told us we were 'allowed' to start ordering lunch (it was around 12:15). I ordered a spaghetti and waited at least 30 minutes-40 minutes. I was not given any cutlery/serviettes until I politely asked the waitresses and later asked the manager if my meal was ready. She claimed that my meal was 'first priority' (despite my wait being way over half an hour) and said that the chefs needed another 15 minutes. I saw other customers also waiting for their orders and becoming fed up with the service while the staff at this cafe looked clueless and did not bother to clean up tables or serve customers properly. When I finally saw my food arrive at the kitchen window, the chef decided to place a dirty receipt from the table directly onto my food knowingly. I rushed to the kitchen areas and asked a waitress why my food was not treated properly. One male waiter inside the kitchen asked "is there anything wrong, what's wrong with putting a receipt on the food?". That was the last straw and later only paid for my sweet potato fries, while I saw others leaving as well. This cafe does not belong in this area, glad we took the punishment of this deranged person and not the many elderly people or families that live here.
Finished our meal and ready to pay, a short chubby lady at the cash register took our payment via credit card. I had noticed she overcharged us incorrectly and i asked for a refund, she agreed and then told me she did not know how to reverse charges on to a card... I responded that cash was fine and she said she didn't know how to open the cash register, then looked at me in silence hoping i would just walk away.
I asked for my refund for the third time and that is when she magically opened the cash register, slammed my refund on the counter and told me to "get out of here". This was followed by swearing, yelling and calling me all sorts of names in the middle of the shopping center in an unstable manner. At this point we just observed her behavior and decided to walk away.
List of the foul language that came out of her mouth, in front of families, elderly and children:
"f* you" "you dirty man" f* off" "go f* yourself" etc...
Castle hill management was fantastic and treated our complaint very well but same could not be said about the owners, no contact or apology 4 weeks on, just a reflection on the pride they take in the business and how much they value...

15 minutes later I had to grab one of the waitresses to bring us a menu.
Ordered coffee and breakfast. Took a long time for the coffees to arrive as we were eating breakfast.
They bright the toast and vegemite out had buttered the toast but gave a tiny container of vegimite on the site. Why would you butter the toast and give sealed small container of vegimite? Trying to save few cents in the product while creating a bad experience.
Additionally we are our breakfast waited for the table to be cleared no one moved the plates. We stacked it all in the corner it date there for 20 minutes while staff walked passed looking lost and confused before someone partially cleared the table. By the way the coffee was below average, the milk was burned they had two shots of coffee in a small mug to say it’s large was way too strong and the milk froth was floating like an island.
Great location but very poor quality and service. I really hope they read these reviews and action them as feedback to improve.
As at this rate they will lose a lot of customers considering the number if 1-2 star ratings have increased dramatically in the past...
