Thank you Joanna for giving me and my bridesmaids the best experience every time we came for a dress and suit fitting! You are an honorary bridesmaid because you made us feel so calm, confident and made the experience so enjoyable each time. I felt incredible in my wedding dress and it was not an easy one to alter because of the silk-wool pleating, but you are such an expert, an actual magician, at what you do!

My bridemaids looked incredible in their perfectly tailored suits. All my wedding outfits were perfect because of your attention to detail and skill.

Special thanks to Teresa for filling in for a last minute wedding dress alteration when Joana was away. You both made the dress perfect for me - and I cannot thank you enough! One of the things I loved the most was that you never rushed us, and allocated us ample time to make sure the fitting was smooth and what you needed. You went above and beyond to teach me how to walk in my dress (I'm thankful), how to hold my bouquet and so much good advice for the day! We love you Joanna. We will be back for our everyday...

I thought my dress fitted when I bought it. But I put on weight around my hips closer to the wedding. Joanna has taken the hip area out and cinched the waist right in to show off my curves. She's made the dress fit me perfectly and I could not be more happy. At the first fitting I felt fat, frumpy and depressed that the dress didn't fit well. Each fitting I have gained more and more confidence. I recommend her services 100%. She is well worth her price. You won't regret it! I'll definitely be going back for future special outfits and she even does your everyday workwear.

I had an excellent experience here for my wedding dress alterations. We were planning to get married in June 2020 and the pandemic struck, so we thought we wouldn't be able to get married. Then we decided we didn't want to wait any longer! So I was worried, my dress was 2 sizes too big and the original place I bought it was closed and not responding. I found Sew Special online and called, Theresa was so kind and saw me that week. I was so grateful that she would squeeze me in.

She went above and beyond for me, made my dress look spectacular and I could not have been happier! They even helped me with tips on how to walk in my dress which were invaluable to me on the day.
