DJI Westfield is a flagship store located on the ground level between Myer retail & Myer foodcourt. The store sells mainly drone cameras, action cameras, gimbals & accessories.

One of the main features of the store is the fly glass cage. Not only does it allow for demonstrations but also a way to showcase what DJI drones in action as people travel down the escalator.

The main purpose of this review is primarily feedback to the DJI workshop I attended. It’s aimed at people who may have recently bought a drone, wants to upgrade or learn about a new product. The workshop duration is approximately 1 hour including Q & A, which includes a comprehensive slideshow detailing the following points: Apps to use Setup & calibration Detailed explanation of each screen icon What the controls do on the RC controller Flight laws Drone licensing Checklist before each flight to get the optimal flight experience Drone demonstration

The DJI team member had presented it with detailed explanations through slide images and hands on display, which I thought he did an excellent job. As a beginner drone user or someone looking to learn about a product they’ve just purchased, these workshops are a good way to enhance your knowledge and brush up your pilot skills from a DJI specialist. Most importantly these workshops are free to the public via online registration, which run on a regular basis with different event series.

I recently purchased a DJI Action 2 but faced issues with jittery images. When I visited a nearby store Macquarie park, the experience was disappointing. They didn’t acknowledge the problem, asked me to return the next day, and didn’t bring their own camera for comparison as promised. This was especially frustrating since I had already bought two Mini 3 Pro Fly More Combo drones—one for myself and one for a friend—from the D1 Store. This level of service wasn’t what I expected.

However, my visit to the DJI Pitt Street store was a completely different experience. Both staff members were very kind and professional, but Ming, in particular, stood out. He listened carefully to my concerns, thoroughly checked my camera, allowed me to compare it with their own camera, and handled all the necessary assessments and documentation with great care.

Whether my camera gets fixed or not, the key thing is how customers are treated, and at the DJI Pitt Street store, they truly know how to listen and provide excellent service. I highly recommend this store, and special thanks to Ming for making the experience...
