Sydney Sauna — Local services in Sydney

I went first time here only few days ago and I actually enjoyed it. My impressions great new facility and clean in appearance. I did not like the water pressure when I had my shower not strong enough and the temperature all out of whack. My shower was cold. I also walked past the huge spa. The spa was still no one in it but lots of floating hair looks like the water needed changing. I so wanted to jump in but was too scared. I'm not sure if they actually change it. I was also very pleased that the whole venue did not smell like eculypitus unlike 357. It was also nice to know this sauna also has private rooms which is just fantastic if you want total privacy. All in all I was happy and I will be going back mainly because if you compare to other saunas this one is much newer and has just as equal facilities to other places. Please fix the pressure water and temperature of showers. The body wash was not all that great I would like to use something relaxing and calming that is why I go to a sauna. Body wash in showers is an important aspect of feeling refreshed but at the same time something to leave me feeling good when I leave to go home. Also it would be good to have on your website some indication that spa water is safe and or regularly changed. Perhaps some kind of heath certificate displayed of date and time water is treated and or changed and last inspected by health professional to keep it all above board be different from other saunas be an ambassidor and show the public you really care .I also found the staff friendly and I liked the cinema room which was playing latest movie. Will there be a naked no towel day during lunch 12-4pm? us guys need that. I would also like to make my own tea or coffee and not have to ask and wait for one. Can you also put water bubblers or dispensers in key areas I'd like to keep hydrated rather going back to my locker for water sips. Looking forward to going back in the...

I visited the Sydney Sauna many times and I have seen 4 issues:

There is tons of chlorine in the jacuzzi. After sitting in it for a while, the skin becomes very itchy. It's a pity as the jacuzzi is nice and big. Really bad choice of music in the venue. I cannot understand why the staff play a very loud, mostly techno/disco music in a place where most customers are 40+. With poor quality of the speakers, after an hour I get a headache from rumbling music. It would be so much nicer and relaxing if the music was enjoyable rather than annoying/tiring. This also affects the cinema room as the loud music overpowers the movie soundtracks. None of the showers have adjustable water temperature. Each shower has only one button with burning hot water. The last thing people want to do after a session in a hot jacuzzi, steam room or dry sauna is to have a burning hot shower. It's really hard to cool down. There should be either adjustable water temperature, or at lease one or two showers with cold/cool water for those who want to cool down. Most saunas have free cooled water dispenser. But the one here is just a tap water, often unpleasantly warm as a soup.

Other than this, it's a great place to visit and I always have a good time there, however, by fixing those issues (which are quite easy to fix) it would make this place much more...

First time ever being at a sauna after moving from a small country town, first impressions are 90% great, nice and clean/maintained, amenities are great! Will definitely be back! Only a small issue that I have noticed to be abit of a recurring theme based on the reviews, the staff... While I truly understand that work is a shitty part of life and that everybody has those days, they seem a little moody and judgmental... almost like you are a huge burden to them and they seem to almost look down on you for being there. As I said while I understand that they have alot to focus on, keeping everyone safe and such.. I did feel a little judged, maybe it's because I'm a bigger guy and not the thin/muscular clientele they prefer..idk.

UPDATE: well must be atleast 2 years since my first review and my god was I right! Went in and was spoken to nicely and even got a few smiles from the staff! The difference this time is like night and day compared to my last visit! What was the difference you ask?
